"Daniel! I heard you are raising five retrievers, is that true?" Vasco excitedly asked as he stood by the lunch table the transfer student sat at.
"Um? Yeah. Not retrievers, they are mixed...." Daniel replied.
"So what if they're mixed? I love dogs! I have a retriever on my phone!" And the big guy flashed his phone that had a puppy as the background. "Can I come see them, Daniel?!" Looking at Vasco as he was acting like an excited child, my face scrunched up as I tried to figure out how he could look so cute but have biceps the size of my skull.
"Huh? Sorry, their mom is still sensitive...." Daniel nervously smiled.
"Oh, really? Fine."
"....I have a dog, too." We glanced over our shoulders to see who had talked. "....A golden retriever." It was a short kid from our department that was also wearing the Burn Knuckles coveralls. "Wanna see it? Now it's at the vet."
"Oh, Oh! Oh, oh, oh!" Vasco nodded his head as he grinned, and he was making the same face he made when I took him to the pound.
"Wait! Vasco!" Mama Jace spoke up. "You're in our department, right?" He looked at the short kid while putting his hands into his pockets. "Taejoon Park, the liar." Jace stated. "Do you know how big a golden retriever is?"
"....Like a.....chihuahua?" The kid replied, and Jace slung an arm over Vasco's shoulder while leading him away.
"Let's go, Vasco, don't listen to him." He pat the taller male's chest.
"Don't be rude to fools, I'm one, too."
"You're not a fool, Vasco, just ignorant. There's a difference." I stated while glancing at the cafeteria line. "Oh, shit! Check out lunch, it's got meat!" And my focus was now on filling my stomach.

"....So for this Taejoon Park incident, we aren't going to move, Vasco." Jace stated as everyone in the class was standing around and looking between Vasco and Jace.
"....I see." Vasco said lowly as he had his arms crossed. That short kid with the chihuahua-retriever had gotten into some deep shit with some guy that was bad news.
"Taejoon Park started it. Helping a member no matter what he did goes against Burn Knuckles' principle. To begin with, he's the only one we barely got to know after we entered this school." Jace continued, and I'd have to agree with him. That kid had made a direct challenge to this guy, even if it was in a video, and these were the consequences of doing so. Taejoon knew the reputation the guy had, yet he still chose to make another video.
"More importantly, if we mess with Daehoon Shin, it will create a conflict with the forces from his area. He seems to be quite famous around there...." I spoke up from the window as I sat there. I was on my phone, scrolling through the comments on some of the videos with the guy. I wanted to know who the fuss was about, so I decided to check it out.
"But then what about Taejoon?"
"Well....maybe Daehoon will blackmail him...." Jace replied, and I glanced at him. From what I was seeing, Daehoon didn't seem to be the blackmailing type of delinquent. "There's a rumor nationwide of a force stealing money from each school. As it's a rumor, it's not confirmed. I haven't heard about it in our area. Maybe because of our school, but.... There's a rumor that in Daehoon Shin's area, they are having trouble getting money. That could be hundreds of thousands of dollars in total." He added the last part under his breath.
"....All right. The Burn Knuckles will stay put." Vasco declared. "I'm going alone." He then rose to his feet.
"Vasco! Then we'll go!" The rest of the guys quickly said.
