Chapter 12

Jane's POV
It was time to pick Carson from school. Carlos was having a nap and no matter how hard I try to wake him, he still doesn't budge. I guess I'll have to leave him here.
I go to Auradon Kindergarten and Preschool to pick him up from the kindergarten. When I got there, I saw Evie, Lonnie and Mal.
"Mal! Evie! Lonnie! Am I late?" Jane asked
"nope, you're right on time actually. The school bell just rang." Evie said. Once she go used her sentence, many children ran out of the school. Soon, we spotted our kids amongst the crowd.
"Mama!" Carson ran towards me and engulfed me in his famous bear hug. "where's daddy? He tell me he buy icream for me... " Carson had tears welled up in his big blue eyes, just like mine.
I wiped them away and told him, "Cars, don't cry, I'll buy you ice cream. Daddy's still sleeping. Once we get home, you can wake him up!" Carson's eyes lit up instantly.
"Mommy, I want ice cream too!"
Evie's POV
"Mommy, I want ice cream too! Can I have some?" Elana overheard Carson.
"I want some too! Please?" Daniel asked.
I heard Layla and Jaden ask Lonnie but she said no. They had already left.
"Mama icream!" Ellie was tugging at my shirt.
"Ok, we can get ice-cream." I finally agreed.
Mal's POV
"Mommy, can we go too? Please??" Marley asked, more like begged.
Meggie and Bry also looked at me. I told them no but Meggie started to cry. I then nodded and started walking to the car and I didn't want another meltdown. Taylor (personal driver) opened the door for me to buckle Megan in. He then helped me to buckle Daniel in and helped Mars with her seatbelt. He drove us to the same ice cream parlour as Jane and Evie.
