Chapter 13

Jane's POV
"I'm getting icream! I'm getting icream!" carson was singing the whole ride to the ice cream parlour. Once we reached, we got out of the car and saw the others.
Mal's POV
I brought the kids to their favourite ice cream place, along with Evie's kids and Jane's kid. I asked Marley and Bryan what flavours would they like and they scream their usual flavours.
"Hello and welcome to Dream Cream Queen Mal, what can I help you with today?" the Server asked me.
"Hi, could I get a small cookie dough ice cream and a small strawberry shortcake ice cream. That would be all, thank you." I replied.
Evie ordered chocolate and blue cotton candy for Elana and Daniel and Jane ordered birthday cake for Carson. The server gave the kids free sprinkles which was so kind if him. The adults and I gave him tips, passed the cups of ice cream to the kids and got back into our cars. I drove back to the castle to see a stressed looking Benjamin Florian Beast at his home-office desk.
"Hey Benny boo" I kissed his temple as he didn't notice I was there. "What's wrong? Anything I can help the King or my husband with?" I giggled. Ben just laughed and pulled me into his lap.
Ben's POV
I saw Mal come in from my side-vision but I was too focused on the document to say hello. She then kissed my temple and I looked up at her gorgeous green eyes. I laughed and pulled her onto my lap after she asked the question.
"I would love if my wife could accompany me here but I know the kids need to be taken care off... " I stated sadly.
"The kids are having their own quiet time and their doing homework. Meggie's napping and I have the monitor so I can stay here. How about I give my sweet and loving babe a massage?" Mal said. I pretended to collapse onto Mal, not putting my whole body weight on her as that might crush her delicate body. We then kissed on the lips and she gave me a massage which was to die for...
"Man, I live my wife..." Ben thought.
