Chapter 5: Preparations

Mal's POV
    "Ok E, see you later." I just finished talking to Evie about the playmate we were having later and I felt arms snaking round my waist from behind. I jumped and accidentally hit that person in the face.
    "Owwwww..." It was Ben
    "Ben! I'm so sorry, I freaked out. I'm sorry. I'll get you an..." I was cut off by Ben kissing me. I kissed back.
    "I only need a kiss to get better." He replied with a sheepish smile.
    I heard Megan crying, meaning she just woke up. I went to her room to get her. At the same time, I went to Bry's room to wake him up. Marley was already awake and eating breakfast.
    "Bry, wake up! Come on, your sisters are up before you. You have a play date with your friends later." I gentle shook Bryan but he wouldn't budge. "Let me handle him."
    I turned around and saw my husband. I gave him a quick kiss before walking out with Megan.
    I was feeding Meggie her breakfast and saw a sleepy Bryan being held by Ben. Bryan came to the table and Ben gave him breakfast. It was granola and yoghurt.
    After all the kids were done eating, I started to prepare lunch for the play date. Devie, Jarlos and Jannie were bringing their kids over to the castle for lunch. Yes, Ben and I live in the castle next to Auradon Prep. Devie lives in a smaller castle, pretty near our castle. Jarlos and Jannie live in houses further away. I looked at the living room from the kitchen and saw a very stressed Ben trying to control the 3 children. Meg in his arms screaming, Bry wanting to go outside and Mars wanting to hold Megan.
    "Bryan and Marley, you two can go to the backyard or your rooms to play, your dad is busy." The two went to their rooms. Ben came to the kitchen and kissed my cheek. I finished chopping the vegetables for salad and was ready to cook. It was 10.30am and I started to cook the chicken. Ben wanted to help me but he had his kingly duties in the morning. Megan didn't want to leave her dad's side so he took Meggie with him.
    At around 12.30pm, I was done cooking and I placed all the dishes onto the table in a buffet style.
    Just then, I heard 3 knocks on the door...
