- Ricky's point of view -

As I was discussing the matter with Ben I became more and more worried by what he had to say. "Really lad, those two are not to be trusted. I really haven't had the chance to ever properly speak with this Dean fella, but his actions have spoken for him in the past. Jaime's got to be here somewhere, I just know she is. Poor girl." Ben looked down with a pained look on his face. At that moment I heard sirens coming up the end of the street. "Good, they're here." I stated. As the police car pulled up behind us I went up to the nearest officer. "Are you the one who made the call sir?" The policeman asked. "Yes, it's the top floor, first apartment on your right." I replied. "Thank you, you men just wait here".

- Jeremy's point of view –

"Well that was interesting, how did they know she was even here?" I muttered as I walked up to the bedroom. I opened the door to see Jaime sitting next to the bed, curled up like a kid. I walked up to her and got down on one leg to meet her eyes. "Ya fucking cunt!" I snarled as I raised my hand to hit her cheek again. As Jaime screamed with agony I immediately used my hand to cover her mouth. "Don't even think about it!" I whispered in her ear. "Yo Jeremy, it's that old man I was talking about earlier, Ben." Dean said while looking out the window. I saw Jaime's eyes widen as I let out a roar of laughter. "So that's how it is aye? The old man trying to save ya? What a twat. Does he think he's ya daddy or something aye? Maybe it's time we started paying him a visit." I said. "Leave Ben out of this Jer! He's got nothing to do with you two! He's just being stubborn! I can talk him out of this, please!" Jaime pleaded. "There's no time anyway Jeremy! The cops just pulled up behind them. Fuck." Dean said from the other room. "Well I'm not going back to jail." I said as I turned back to Jaime. "Ya just get your ass into that fucking closet and you stay put. Or else... bang bang birdie." I grabbed her arm to get her up and led her towards the closet. As she got in I grabbed her face to turn her eyes towards mine. "Remember birdie, hush!" As I closed the door I turned towards Dean. "Put Saw on bruv, I got a plan."

A loud banging sounded from the front door. "This is the London Police, open up!" I opened the door as Dean was sitting in the couch, telly turned on. "What seems to be the problem officer? Anything I can help with?" I replied. "We had a call that there might have been some domestic disturbance here, mind if we take a look around?" Before I could answer him the copper made his way in. I was still on probation, so attacking a police officer wouldn't be the smartest move right now. "There's no sign of a woman here, yet the call said they heard a woman screaming from this apartment." The copper said as his colleague was scanning our apartment. Dean kept a close eye on him while I answered. "A woman's scream? Here? That's odd. Oh, I see. Must have been the movie, aye!" The officer looked at me with disbelief as I continued. "We're watching a horror movie that I recently got on DVD. One woman just got brutally murdered, body cut up while still alive. Ya must have heard about the Saw movies officer?" The officer turned his face towards the telly to see the movie on. "It seems that could explain the situation. And it does seem there is no sign of any female in this apartment. Can I see your IDs please before we take our leave? Just so we know who we are dealing with here."

Reluctantly Dean and I gave him our ID cards and surely they would find out about my probation, so I used the moment to make the best of it. "Officer, just to be completely honest with ya since ya will find out anyway. I'm still on my probation, so I'm trying to better my life to become a model citizen. I'm sorry that this misunderstanding caused ya and the caller a lot of inconvenience. We never intended to..." The policeman interrupted me. "Sir, your honesty about that matter is commendable. But it won't help your case if we find anything. Just to be absolutely certain my colleague will be checking the other rooms." As the other policeman left the kitchen towards the bedroom door, I felt my heart beating faster and faster. 'That cunt better be keeping silent before I turn this place into a Wild Wild West saloon.' I thought to myself. "Nothing here either." The other policeman stated. "Very well, we'll be taking our leave then. Let this be an incident." He returned our IDs to us and they made their way through the front door. "That was too close for comfort" Dean whispered. "Shut up. We'll be making plans for our trip back to Leeds. Time to get birdie home bruv."
