"Wait... Do you find him attractive?" Katelyn asks with a smile. "What? No.. I just think he's quite friendly," Tyra says, looking down at the dirt. Katelyn squeals, sensing slight lie that came out of Tyra's mouth. "Stop lying to yourself, Tyra!" Katelyn exclaims. "What do you mean? He just seems like a nice guy...." Tyra argues. "Whatever. I know when you're lying. We've known each other for eight years, ever since second grade!" Katelyn tells her best friend. "Well, I'm not lying to you so get over it," Tyra says defensively with a sigh. Katelyn doesn't argue with her and the group becomes silent. "So... What are you guys doing after school?" Jason speaks up, breaking the silence.
"I'll just be going home. I have that shitty homework that Ms. Igolie gave me," Katelyn grumbles. "You know, that "shitty homework" might help you in life," Tyra tells her. "Yeah right.." Katelyn responds angrily. "It's so useless!" she continues. Tyra just sighs at Katelyn's anger toward her homework. She notices Jason put his hand on Katelyn's back, comforting her. "It's alright babe. It's just homework," he says, whispering into her ear. She sighs and looks at the ground before Tyra begins to speak. "Well, I've got a party to go to tonight." "Who's?" Ana asks. "My cousin invited me," Tyra answers. "The hot one?" Derek questions, a smirk slowly appearing on his face. "Get a life, Derek. And yeah, her," Tyra responds with a smile. "I think she likes me honestly," he says confidently. "I'll ask her for you," Tyra tells him. "Thanks, kitty."
Tyra ignores what he calls her and turns to Dawn. "Aren't you going on a date with Umbra tonight?" she asks her. "Oh, yeah! There's this new restaurant in town and we're going to eat there," Dawn tells her. "What kind of food?" Tyra questions her again. "It's Indian I think. I'm so excited!" Dawn explains. "Never seen someone so excited about food..." Ana says, patting her best friend on the back. "Bitch, I'm always excited to eat some food!" Dawn replies with a laugh.
The group talks a bit more before the bell rings loudly inside, indicating the students to move to their next class. Tyra stands up from the picnic table and brushes off her clothes. "Alright! Class time," she says and begins to walk away. "Wait up, Tyra!" she hears Ana call, remembering they have the same class. She stops and turns around, watching Ana run up to her. "Sorry... Forgot we had the same class," Tyra explains with a little laugh. "It's fine," Ana pants before walking into the school beside Tyra. They enter their class and sit down in their seats. "Looks like the new kid shares about every class with you, Tyra..." Ana tells her, looking at the door as Leo walked in. He smiles at Tyra and she smiles back. "Yeah..." she responds with a little sigh. "You do like him!" Ana exclaims happily. Leo and Tyra's eyes meet as she says that, only for a second though, as for Tyra whips her head around to look at Ana.
"I do not," she says in a deadly whisper. "Okay, okay..." Ana says, looking down at her desk. "Sorry about that Ana... Didn't mean to come off so rude..." Tyra apologizes. Ana just nods and looks up. "Yeah, it's fine," she says with a little laugh. "Okay class! Let's settle down and learn some history!" their teacher says. She was very outgoing and enthusiastic. Everyone liked her. "You should talk to him after class," Ana whispers into Tyra's ear while looking down at her paper. Tyra puts down her pencil. "Maybe I will," she whispers back. "And I'll be there too," Ana continues in a whisper. "Sure," Tyra responds. "Thanks! I promise I won't make it awkward," Ana tells her. "Girls...." Ms. Relly says, looking at Ana and Tyra. A light smile appears on her face as Tyra looks up. "Sorry, ma'am," Tyra says and lowers her pencil to the paper. "Thank you," Ms. Relly says, and goes back to her work on her laptop.
Once class ends, Tyra stands up and notices  that Leo doesn't leave immediately. She walks over to him without Ana. "Hey Leo," she says kindly and grins at him. "Oh, hi Tyra." His voice becomes quiet in the sentence as Ana walks over. "Oh, yeah. This is Ana," Tyra tells him. "Hey, I'm Leo," he says to Ana. "Oh, I know. Tyra pretty much only talks about you anymore," Ana explains. Taken aback by this, she shoos Ana off. "Sorry about her. And I don't only talk about you," Tyra says, rubbing the back of her neck. "I wouldn't mind you talking about me..." Leo says, loud enough for Tyra to hear. "Wh- What?" is all she can muster after hearing him say that.

Sorry about never updating, lol. I kind of just get bored of writing, and then find motivation, and then lose it again. Anyway, here's the second chapter. Enjoy! (And I'll be posting more often, promise.)
