Nobody's P.O.V
As the movie played, Dan fiddled with the ends of his sleeves, not being able to pay attention. His mind was racing with random thoughts. He didn't like being in the house. It will always remind him of a gun.
He remembers everything that had happened while he was in there. The fear in Phil's eyes, his mother on the ground, and himself being behind his father. He didn't know what he was thinking when he went over to the house. All he knew was he wanted to save Phil.
Instead Dan got a bullet through his shoulder, and a man down. He never thought that he'd end his life afterwards. It was just nonsense in Dan's eyes.
Dan thought of how sad it made Phil to have a head father. He understands the pain of losing a loved one. Nobody should ever go through that.
Phil wiped away a tear from Dan's cheek. He was so caught up in his thoughts he didn't even notice the tears falling onto Phil's shirt.
"Are you okay? We can stop watching if you want." Phil asked concerned. Dan nodded his head, gesturing that he's okay and that he wants to continue watching.
Phil shook his head and sat up. He closed his laptop and looked into Dan's eyes.
"I know you're not okay. I know that you're traumatized of being in this house. I am too, and it's going to take a while for me to recover from that. But, you need to talk to me whenever you feel so sad." Phil grabbed Dan's hands, and held them tightly in his own. "I hate seeing you sad every day, it tears my heart apart. I don't care if we just started dating. I have always cared for you, ever since we met." Phil's eyes started to water.
Dan felt tears streaming down his face, as he looked into Phil's eyes. He's never seen Phil cry. He was always happy, and never looking down. Now here he was, on the verge of tears.
"You gotta start talking to me. I want to help you, I really do, but I can't help if you don't tell me what's wrong." Phil says bursting out into tears.
Dan felt horrible. How could he do this to Phil? All he wanted to do was to be with him, and to try his best to make him happy instead he's doing the complete opposite. Here they are sitting on a bed crying.
Dan got up from the bed, and sat down next to Phil. He wrapped his arm around him, and sighed. He stopped his tears from falling because he knew it would've just made the situation worse. Phil sniffled, and rested his head on Dan's shoulder. It was Dan's turn to help Phil.
"Promise me you will tell me when you're sad. I can't keep seeing you like this anymore, it hurts to badly." Dan nodded his head, not wanting to argue. Dan was never good with expressing how he feels.
After a few minutes, Phil finally stopped crying, and rested his head on his pillow. "I kind of lost the mood to watch a movie." Dan nodded his head, and sat at the end of the bed, not wanting to be in Phil's personal space.
"Why are you so far away from me? I don't have chlamydia!" Phil says, making Dan laugh. He sat closer to Phil, and fiddled with the ends of the jumper again. He never thought that he'd be with Phil, in his house, dating him, and slowly becoming happier. He hasn't even noticed how bright his life has been turning because he's still stuck in the past.
Phil got up from the bed, and grabbed a controller. "I bet I can beat you in Mario kart this time!" Dan rolled his eyes, and sat up. He faced the screen, and patiently waited for Phil to put on the game.
As the game loaded up, he noticed something a bit off. Phil wasn't posting ever since 'that' happened. His fans are probably worried about him. The last video he made was with Dan. He had already looked at the comments, and he wasn't happy at all about it. Some of them were nice, and he smiled a bit while reading them. But other's were just so mean, and rude.
