Nobody's P.O.V

Dan rushed towards the bathroom, and Phil was furious. How could Chris say something like that to someone? That isn't right.

"Chris, why are you such an âss? Can't you just be a nice person for once? Why can't you just accept the way he is, and deal with it? Its not any of your business of how he lives his life anyways. Stay out of it!" Phil storms off looking for Dan.

Phil enters the bathroom, and he hears small sobs coming from a bathroom stall.

"Dan?" Phil says. "G-go away." Dan says sadly. "I-im too u-ugly and f-fat to be looked at."

Phil could tell that Dan was miserable. He knows, that when a person pushes you away, it's when you need them the most. "Dan if you don't unlock the stall door, I will literally climb under it."

Dan moves his shaking hand towards the lock, and a click was heard. The door opened, and Dan was curled up in a ball, with tears rolling down his pink cheeks.

"I told him to leave you alone. I promise you, he won't be messing with you anymore." Dan stays silent, sobbing into his knees, shaking, and breathing heavily.

"C'mon, i'll take you home if you want." The thought of going back to Dan's house fills Dan's mind.

Most likely, his father will be home, and he's gonna end up being beat, but only this time worse.

Dan shook his head furiously, and continued to cry.

Phil walked towards Dan, and sat on the floor next to him.

"Look Dan, I know it's hard, believe me. But you have to promise me you'll be strong. If you show Chris and everyone else that you act weak, then they're not going to stop. I'm here for you, and I always will be." Dan rests his head on Phil's shoulder, and calms down a bit.

"Plus, in my eyes, you're not a ugly, fat, freak. You're a good person, with a great personality, and definitely not ugly." Phil smiled looking down at a blushing Dan resting on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry Dan. We should've never came here in the first place. I forced you to come here, and I knew you didn't want to. This is all my fault. It would have been fine if I wasn't here. Maybe I should just leave. I'm sorry." Phil stood up, about to walk away. Dan grabbed his hand, making Phil stop.

He looked down on Dan, disappointed in himself. "S-stay." Dan tells Phil with a smile. Phil sighs, and sits down next to Dan. "Why do you want me to stay? I've already made everything worse." Phil says with his head down in shame.

Dan looks at him, and sighs. "I-it's okay, P-Phil..." Dan tells Phil trying to make him feel better.

"No it's not. It's my fault."

Dan thinks to himself once again. It's not Phil's fault that they mess with him. They're only telling him the truth. Dan doesn't like the truth, but he has to deal with it. He knows that Phil only tells him good stuff to make him feel better, but it means nothing in Dan's eyes.

The boys sit on the ground for a couple of minutes. Phil finally decided it was time to leave the mall. It wasn't worth it sitting on the ground because he made a mistake. "Look, I'm sorry. Let's go somewhere together. It can be somewhere quiet or something." Dan nodded his head, and stood up.

They walk out of the bathroom, and out of the food court. They make their way to the parking lot, and Dan freezes again. For some reason, he felt so alone in a building full of people. He got tense, and his eyes started shifting.

Phil turned around once again to see Dan on the verge of having an anxiety attack. He walked towards Dan and tapped him on the shoulder. Dan jumped back, and started to panic.

"P-please don't h-h-hurt me!" Dan shouted a bit too loudly. People starred at them in the middle of the mall. Dan started to panic, shaking in his own shoes. He fell to the ground and held himself in his knees.

Phil bent down, lifting up Dan's chin. "Dan I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." Phil looked at Dan with sad eyes. He felt offended by Dan's words. Why would he think that he would hurt Dan. If anything he wanted to protect him from everyone else.

People were still watching them, but Phil didn't care.

"It's me, Phil. I'm not going to hurt you, Dan. Nobody is here to hurt you." Dan was brought back to reality by Phil's words, and looked around at all the people starring at them. He looked at Phil, and immediately felt horrible.

Dan stood up, and kept on walking, ignoring everyone looking. Phil watched Dan walk away, and he felt sad. He caught up to Dan, and walked beside him in silence.

A few minutes later, they entered the car, and sat down. Dan looked out the window as they drove out of the mall parking lot.

Phil looked over at Dan for a few seconds, then put his eyes back on the road. "Hey, Dan... I'm sorry." Dan felt embarrassed to speak, so he just grabbed Phil's hand. Squeezing it gesturing that it's fine.

Phil caught it off guard, but he didn't mind. He actually quite licked Dan's touch.

Phil liked everything about Dan. His laugh, smile, personality, and his placenta jokes. Then it hit him. Phil was developing feelings for Dan. But this time it was different. Every time he's had a crush on someone, it didn't feel like his feelings for Dan. It was much smaller, and didn't last a long time.

Their hands were intertwined, and Dan kept his eyes peeled outside the window. At this point, Phil was just driving around the area. "W-where are w-we going?" Dan asked Phil.

"I don't know... wherever you want to go." Dan shrugged his shoulders, and continued to look out of the window. "W-what about y-your h-h-house?" Dan suggested. He didn't want to go home. He knew his dad was probably home, and he didn't want to go home to that.

"Yeah that's fine." Phil tells Dan. Phil drives them to his house, and the whole way, they hold hands.

"Here's my house!" Phil says excitedly. They walk into the house, and Dan stood awkwardly in the living room.

Phil's mum approached Dan, and smiled. "So you must be Dan!" She says sticking out her hand.

Dan smiles, and nods his head. Taking her hand in his.

"Dan, this is my mum. Mum, this is Dan." Phil says, smiling. "He seems like a lovely boy, you do know how to pick your friends." Dan smiled, and stood next to Phil.

"Let's go upstairs, I have a bunch of video games and stuff to do."
