Nobody's P.O.V

Phil was looking for Dan after class, and wasn't able to find him. He looked in every hallway, every class room, the library, the lunch room, bathrooms, but he was nowhere to be seen. Phil began to panic, and told one of his teachers.

He knows that Dan went to school, and he knows he was in first period. He walked over to his second period teacher, and asked if he's seen Dan anywhere.

"Yes, he was in my class today. He asked to use the bathroom and never showed up to class." The teacher replied, looking back down at the computer. Phil thanked the teacher, and exited the classroom.

He took out his phone, and dialed Dan's number. He walked over to the lunch room, and sat down at the table they usually sit together at. He opened up their messages, and sent him a text.

Phil: Where are you?

Phil put his phone back in his pocket and waited for a response. He sat alone that day, and waited for that one text all day.

The bell rang, and students were released from school. Phil looked around for Dan everywhere outside. He wasn't anywhere on the track, or at the tree. He was nowhere to be seen. Phil went into panic mode.

His heart raced, and his palms started to sweat. He put a hand over his forehead, feeling sweat dripping down. It was cold outside, yet he was sweating like crazy.

He tried thinking of where Dan could be, but thought of nothing. Then something hit him. He remembers his dad calling him. "Oh no." Phil said out loud. He rushed off of school grounds, and ran towards Dan's house.

He tripped over the pavement a few times, but he didn't care. He kept running until he reached his house, and took in a deep breath. The door was left wide open, and all lights were off. "Dan!" Phil shouted, but heard nothing.

He didn't want to walk into the house and invade his personal space, but he didn't exactly have a choice. He rushed inside, and cringed at the smell of beer. "Dan!" He shouted again. The only noise he heard was his voice echoing around the house.

He ran up to his room, and saw that the door was wide open. He wasn't in the room. He walked into the bathroom, and he wasn't there either. He walked over to Dan's Dad's room, and the door was also opened.

He walked inside seeing that there was clothes scattered around the room, resulting in a mess. Phil grabbed his phone out of his back pocket. His hand shook as he dialed the police.

"I-I can't find my friend. We walked to school- and he was in my first class-" Phil said as soon as he heard someone answer the call. "Slow down, sir. What seems to be the problem?" A lady said on the other line.

"D-Dan, he's gone!" Phil shouted into the phone beginning to cry. "Okay, what's his full name?" The woman said. "Daniel James Howell... his dad was just put into prison a few days ago. he called yesterday saying he was out." Phil explained. He heard someone type something into a computer.

"The boy who was shot because he saved his friend?" She said shocked. "Y-yes, he helped me and my family. Now where is he?" He said with tears streaming down his face. "We don't know, but we need to know where you are right now."

Phil gave them Dan's address, and hung up the phone. He sat down on Dan's bed, and put his head in his hands. He sobbed loudly to himself wanting Dan in his arms.

As Dan was dragged off of school grounds, he had a panic attack. He tried looking around for Phil, but he couldn't find him anywhere. Suddenly, all he saw was darkness. A bag was over his head, and his hands were tightly behind his back. Tears were streaming down his face as he was shoved into a car.
