Nobody's P.O.V
Dan's eyes grew wide as he watched Chris walk into his classroom. His stomach turned, and he dug his nails into his sleeves. Whenever Chris is near him, anxiety builds up.
The teacher looks over at Chris as he smirks evilly at all the students. While looking around the room, Chris spots Dan in the back of the class with Phil. Dan and Chris quickly made eye contact. Dan looked away not wanting to have an anxiety attack.
"Another new student is here to join us today." The teacher announces groggily to the class. He was holding a cup of coffee, and black bags faded underneath his eyes. "Please welcome, Chris."
Chris rolled his eyes at the class and took a seat in the front. Girls were giggling, and blushing as he sat down. Honestly, he has slept with every girl in the school. It doesn't really matter who they were. If they were a girl, he'd get them in his bed in a matter of seconds.
The teacher sat back down at his desk, and began checking his emails, or whatever teachers do on their laptops.
Dan looked over at Phil, not wanting to take in that Chris is now in his Math class. Phil looked at Dan, seeing that he was fidgeting around, and his eyes were shifting a bit more than usual. Phil kicks Dan slightly under the table to grab his attention.
Dan looked over at Phil with confusion. "Are you okay?" Phil asks Dan with a hint of concern in his voice. Dan didn't want Phil worrying right now.
He doesn't really liked how Phil is always with him now. It's just going to cause more people to hate him. He's dragging Phil away from his other friends that he has. He really doesn't want to get between that. It's like taking a puppy away from it's mother. You didn't mean to just take it away, he just wanted to feel loved like everyone else.
Dan nodded his head, wishing for the class period to end. He looked down at his paper and started to doodle. Dan actually likes art a bit. It's another one of his escape's from reality. Dan usually likes to raw his thoughts, meaning an illustration of how he feels at that certain moment.
For example, when his mother passed, he drew a picture of himself falling into a hole. At the bottom, there was monsters. Not just ordinary monsters, but ones that expressed the weight on his shoulders. On Dan's chest, he drew a broken heart. At the top of the picture was his mother.
Right now, Dan was drawing a boy standing outside. He drew the same boy standing below him, kind of like a mirror effect. On the top half, everything was colorful and happy. The other side was filled with darkness, and emptiness. It was basically what Dan feels now.
He tries to hide his pain so much, he doesn't do a really good job at it though. He draws fake smiles over his lips every single day, and when he get's home, he erases it quickly. Everything around him in school is 'happy'. At home, he's all alone. He get's sad all the time, and cries every night.
"That's a really good drawing, Dan." Phil whispered, knowing he wasn't allowed to talk in the middle of a lesson. Dan looked up, meeting Phil's eyes. He smiled, and looked back down at his drawing.
A few minutes later, the teacher stands up, and walks over to the front of the class. Everyone takes their eyes off what they were doing, and face the front.
"We're going to be having a project!" He says excitedly. The class groans, and looks back at what they were doing. "I wasn't finished." He says to the class.
"Each person gets to choose a mathematician to write a biography on. But, there's a twist. You must make it into a story. I want to see creative writing, and great characters. Make something up for all I care! Just make sure the person you choose is REAL." The students all grown and roll their eyes in unison.
