Smoke glided off my lips as I bumped my head to Future's album, Hndrxx. The dewy morning and warm sun complimented my mood. Thoughts rumbled everywhere in efforts of organizing itself. I was going 50 mph to school. Eventually I arrived, my car reeked of weed and was clogged with smoke. Opening my door was like opening a freezer, vapor fell to the ground.

During class my lids hung low, indicating my body's state of distress. "Alright class, Karhé can I talk to you" my professor said. I rose from my seat heading towards her desk. "You're a great student, in fact you're the only A I have. But because of the rules I have to drop you. You've missed 5 classes already. I'm sorry." she informed. "It's fine" I said dryly. I immediately turned away in disappointment. Not like I didn't see it coming, but this was my last resort to getting my degree. I took a long sigh and sat on a nearby bench. I looked down at my feet, reflecting on my options. I could feel someone's presence next to me but I continued to stare. "What's up" a familiar voice stated. "Nothing but bullshit" I replied fiddling with my fingers. I could tell it was Kai by his deep voice. His soft finger touched my chin lifting it up to his face. My heart raced, alarmed by his touch. "Look at me when i talk to you" he demanded. I dragged his fingers off my chin. "At least I'm even talking to you" I said gaining attitude. "Whatever, let's go and some ice cream" He added randomly. Disgust curtained my face. "No" "Yeah, we're going now" he replied. Suddenly he swooped me up laying me on his shoulder. I groaned, annoyed by his sudden want for contact. I didn't bother to fight him either knowing that he's still hurting.

I found myself in Haagen-Dazs eating caramel ice cream. "What happened?" he asked. " I got dropped from my business class and that was my only way to get the degree that I wanted. If I don't get that degree then I can't own my club" I stressed. "Well look on the bright side of things you don't have to go to class anymore. Even though you were dropped from that one class can't you just take it online?" he prompted. " I have taken this course online and I was dropped, so there is no option left for me. I guess I'll just have to do without a degree" I sighed. "But you have ice cream and me" he added. I looked into his eyes comforted by his support. " Just like how you were there for me the other day, I'm here for you when you need me. Although we're not friends" he said smiling. "Yeah we're not" I said slightly showing teeth. " ls that a smile? I might just be the luckiest man out here" he said cracking jokes. "The luckiest boy" I said correcting him.

We both giggled at my comment leaning back into my chair. "Tell me something i don't know" he said initiating a conversation. "The stock market went up by 4% last night" I said fixing my bag to the side . "Nah for real" he smiled. "I prefer to stay exclusive. I don't like talking about myself" I explained. He looked me interested in the way I spoke. "Well you know enough to kill and put me out of business" he said leaning forward. "That is true" I said shaking my head. A mutual agreement existed between us. We both know our limits. My soul otherwise was like a magnet to his. There was an excite and craving between our souls that always caused my stomach to turn. His phone interrupted our conversation. You could see his expression change to a more serious look. "What?" He stared at my face while responding to the person. "As much as I would..." he said cut off. "Take me with you" I demanded. "I don't know about all of that, but...." "But what?" I said with attitude. "It's just that, i don't think you should be there" he claimed. "Why?" i asked. "You still have enemies" he said with a straight face. "I don't care. I'm still coming with you, I'm strapped" I said folding my arms. He released a long sigh and rose up from his chair.
