Chapter 28

The morning started out with mishap. I thought maybe once things in the house would be calm, but it's very clear that not all people get along. Kai and Reign had been going at it since he came. He's been here for at least 3 days and I honestly wouldn't mind him staying longer. Beyond my two most loved people bickering, with him I feel safe. I love our relationship, besides how weird things are. I'm still getting used to the new information i've gotten. So far I haven't seen any signs of Amaranthine. Maybe things are getting better, Kai and I are growing stronger and I couldn't ask for better.

I closed my purple diary wrapping it up with a smile. Things are getting better. I got up from my office chair exiting the room. I passed through the living room giving a quick hi, but was stopped by something. To be precise, a remark. "Well hi to you too Reign" I said getting closer to her. She had sat by the couch scrolling through her Instagram feed with ease. "Morning" she said dryly. "What's your problem?" I asked confused. "Nothing...that concerns you" she said rolling her eyes. I was shocked by her attitude. She rose from her seat walking straight to her room, ending with a slam. What the hell?

I walked into my room to see Kai's naked body fresh out of the shower. "Shit caught me off guard" He said smirking. I scratched the back of my head while i lasered the floor. "Wanna help me dry off?" he said walking closer to me. "Look at me" he said lifting my chin. I was staring directly into his soul enjoying every bit of it. A smile started to escape my lips making him raise an eyebrow. "Since when does Karhe Williams smile?" he said caressing my chin. "Since now" I responded, wiping away the remaining water on his face. His arms found it's way around my waist but something hard stood between us. I didn't bother to look down at his "problem". I remained staring into his eyes studying his seductive expression. "So are you gonna help me?" he asked looking down. I couldn't help but giggle out of nervousness. "No worries you don't have to. I guess i'll take care of it" He said backing away. "How? With who?" I asked immediately defensive. "My han-" "Come here" I said rolling my eyes. "You know I missed you" I said pecking his chest. "All of you" I added raising my eyebrow.

A smirk left his face as his head sunk into my neck. Effortlessly he tossed me on the placing his lips on mine. The taste of him again was like a constant reminder of life in a bliss. Slight moans slipped while my clothes began to fly away. I was too into his lips to realize I was topless. He detached his lips and reached my lower half, dragging my shorts and underwear in one go. I glanced at his smirk before he adjusted himself.

It was just me and him. All i knew was him. I could feel him ascend into me, causing me to clench onto him. Him. I love it. He looked over at me gazing into my eyes. That's the stare I fell for. I inched forward placing a soft kiss on his lips. My lips. We indulged into each other, while everything seemed to disappear.

Passion dripped off of our lips as he began to stroke. Drip. Sweat dropped from our bodies. His muscles bulged out of his arms while his lips were still preoccupied, trailing my body. Everything was a daze, foggy, uncertain. Do I love him? My lips searched his body as i straddled him. We all search for something. Our bodies moved as one, everything was connected. We are connected. It all seemed to drift away before my eyes. My focus was on Kai the entire time but his soul led me somewhere else. Not to him but towards the universe.
