My skin glistened in the warm sun, taking in the vitamin D. That's one of the many blessings I've received while living here in Florida, the amazing weather. My thoughts sunk deep into the darkest realms of my mind, never to be found. I was now empty, just a body feeding itself nutrients. The sun's rays beamed through my lids brightening my usual darkness. Suddenly, I felt something wet, Cocoa. Carefully opening my eyes I got up from my chair and greeted her.
"Karhé! Aye, come with me to the grocery store" she said motioning her hands.
I slowly nodded and sat there mesmerized by how great my pool looked. The vibrant green grass blessed the large backyard. Meanwhile, the crystal clear waters gracefully drifted waiting for some company. No worries, I'll be back soon.
I had jumped in Reign's Audi A7, just to go to the grocery store. Figuratively, I seemed like the less fortunate one since I only owned a 2003 Lexus.
Bass vibrated our souls as the wind blowed through our hair. I admired the aesthetics out the window, dozing into another world. There's an aesthetic to anything and everything, it all depends on how you perceive it.
We entered Publix searching for who knows what. She knows I don't like going to grocery stores. Eyes trailed to the next thing that entered the doors. Almost like they were hungry, but why?
"We have to get some beef, chicken, oxtail, pork, cereal, beer, rice...." Reign said rambling on.
"Okay, I understand our house is empty" I couldn't even tell you the last time I've walked in Publix.
"I come here every week" she said eyeing me up. It's hard being the main consumer. "So...It's not like we broke or waste food" I said with a little attitude.
She quickly rolled her eyes and started to walk towards the meat section. Clueless, I stupidly ignored the signs and checked the isles.
I managed to reach the isle filled with cereal. My eyes lasered into the Captin Crunch box. As I reached below for the cereal, I awkwardly knocked my head into several boxes of Frosted Flakes falling on something or someone.
"Yo, I'm sorry" I said getting up.
"Nah, It's cool shorty" a deep voice stated.
I turned around curious of who this voice belonged to. To my surprise it was Mr. Promiscuous himself.
"Don't you go to my school?" he questioned.
"Yeah I do" I said with a light smile.
My attention lied on his lips. His tongue smoothly glided off of them, revealing it's tender vulnerability. Besides, his lips were leveled to my eyes. I took a slight step back catching a better view of him.
We both stood there fascinated with our physical appearance. I hope that's not the only thing he cares about.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Why should I give it to you? I've always been told to never talk to strangers" I said seductively.
"I won't be a stranger for long, especially if you keep this up" he said biting his lips. I smirked to myself in amusement.
"Karhé" I looked down to my feet, waiting for a response. "That's a beautiful name almost as beautiful as you...." he said cut off.
"Who dis?" Reign said with a straight face.
"A friend" I said smiling up at him. "Well 'friend' we have to go" she said already dragging me.
A goofy smile appeared on his face while waving goodbye. "Karhé, HALO?" she said snapping me out of my trance. "What?" lost is the only word that can currently describe me. "Get yo ass in the car" she said annoyed.
The conversation back home was just endless ranting on the rules and regulations of dating. I've never dated anyone before. Therefore, in Reign's head I must go through the crash course. Everything she said went through one ear and out the next.
"Pause for the cause, I'm 25 not 15 I know what I'm doing no matter how clueless I may seem. He's just a...."
"A mesmerizing piece of meat that I bet won't even last till tomorrow"
"It'll still be the best meat I will ever taste" I said looking in the opposite direction. "I fu*ckin hate you" she said laughing.
"I'm good, remember you not doing all the protecting" I said sinking into the seat.
"Excuse me, that's my job period" she said in a defensive manner. I simply laid back letting her believe whatever she's content with.
I've always been there for her when her protection is concerned. Ever since she moved out she's been under my supervision, not like she needs my help. I was a lost soul, my pieces were everywhere, she was just that special person to put me back together. She has my heart, my loyalty will forever lie in her hands till the day I die.

I could feel his warmth collide with mine.We barely touched, yet we were close enough to touch. My body craved him, craved his soft plump lips, craved all of him. Our eyes glowed at the sight of each other. I want you, but should I tell you? His soft palms cupped my face bringing us closer. One more move and I might just kiss him. His lips, soft and moist, slightly brushed mine sparking a reaction I didn't call for.
When you feel like there's no way out, you have no other choice but to....
