After the awkwardness of my admission, we chatted for another twenty minutes before we decided to head back to the hotel room we rented for our weekend off. Niall invited Grace to come with and she hesitantly accepted after a few minutes of convincing. Now we were walking down the corridor to our room.

"You know, I've always loved One Direction." Grace confessed as we walked side by side. "Since the start, really. I've always wanted to meet them. It's great that I've finally had the chance."

"I'd never heard of them until Michael came home one day raving about them." I admitted with a guilty smile. "I'm more into The Beatles and Billy Joel than anything else."

"I love the Beatles!" Grace squealed in excitement. I grinned at her as we reached the door.

"I absolutely love their song, Yesterday," I gushed. Niall and Calum rolled their eyes at us as Niall opened the door.

"Oh my god, yes!" Grace giggled as we pushed through the door and into the living space. "Their song All You Need Is Love is my drug."

"Whoa, who's this lovely girl?" Harry asked, standing from his position on the sofa. He sauntered over to us, took Grace's hand and placed a light kiss on her knuckles.

"Oh my god, did he just do that?" She squealed softly in my direction. I chuckled as I walked around them and took Harry's spot between Louis and Zayn.

"This is Niall's new friend," I smirked at the flushed boy. "Why don't you introduce her, sweet cheeks?"

"Oh, uh, this is Grace," he said, his cheeks a bright pink now. He moved to her side and wrapped a protective arm around her. I could practically see her hyperventilating. Her brown eyes were wide behind her blue rimmed glasses, and her mouth was struggling to stay shut.

I exchanged a glance with Calum and we both burst into laughter. The two had barely met a few hours ago and he was already being possessive. It was cute, how opposite they looked and thought, but how much they complimented each other.

Grace seemed to get over her inner fangirl fit and smiled around at everyone.

"Hi," she waved at the lads before tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She was nervous.

"Yes, be nice to the poor girl. She's a lovely character and has a wonderful taste in music." I said in my 'mommy tone' as the boys called it.

"It's true!" Calum grinned. "She's a fan of both our bands."

"Hey! I was talking about the Beatles!" I protested as the others cheered.

"It doesn't matter, just be nice to Niall's new girlfriend!" Louis summed up.

Both Niall and Grace began to flounder, their words becoming a mess of gibberish. All I got out of it was, "I'm not--" and "just met..." and "no girlfriend!"

I joined Michael, Calum, Luke, Liam, Zayn, Harry and Louis in their laughter. It was fun to watch them blush whenever they looked at each other.

"I wasn't saying you were dating," Louis said after we all calmed down enough. His giggles were still turned on and his eyes were bright with mischief. "I called her your new girl friend. You know, cause she's a girl and she's your friend?"

Again the couple, who weren't really a couple, blushed which made everyone laugh harder.

I felt hot breath on my neck, shivers shooting down my spine. The heat from his body was radiating off of him and onto me.

"I need to talk to you, Ashley." The timbre of his voice was husky as he whispered, and I felt his lips brush against my ear. Was it wrong that I liked the feeling? "Alone,"
