"Aliciiiiaaaa why are you wearing a plaster cast on your ankle" says Faith in a singsong voice .

"Oh yeah i forgot, it's this damn concussion , i fell in physio today and broke my ankle luckily it was only a clean break so it should be off in about four weeks "

Alicia's POV

Mam started to fan herself as if she was overheating well it was quite warm in this room so i leaned over and opened the window and as she moved to it she stumbled a bit and then suddenly she blacked out in Dad's arms , Faith looked close to a panic attack and Rachel was very scared because Mam wasn't waking up like she had done before when she passed out from the shock of seeing me , i knew Dad was going to have to sedate her so as soon as the girls were downstairs with Jack and Em i checked on the twins before going to find Mam's medical bag so i could measure up some sedation , i found it and grabbed the sedation and measured up enough to knock her out for a few hours till we could get to the bottom of why she didn't come round after she blacked out but due to her being unconscious we couldn't give her too much , i made it back to Faith and Rachel's room where Dad had lifted her onto the bed and was checking her over using the flashlight in his pocket , she was still unresponsive so i quickly inserted the needle into her arm and pressed the plunger to release the sedation and her body went limp , i quickly phoned Ethan and told him to keep the kids busy whilst we brought Mam down and got her into the car to get her to hospital as her breathing was shallow and Dad was concerned so whilst the coast was clear he lifted her lifeless body and carried her downstairs and i followed .

He strapped her into the car and grabbed a blanket and covered her and we drove to the hospital in an eerie silence , i had been out of hospital for less than a day and this happens could this day get any worse. We pulled up at the hospital and i could see Iain and Sam coming out of the Entrance with a trolley so i yelled at them to bring the trolley to the car and told Dad to go home and explain to the kids what was happening as they were bound to be scared and confused . I helped Sam and Iain get Mam onto the trolley and explained everything to them.

" Right this is Connie Masters 34 at approximately 12:04pm she collapsed but came round pretty much straight away but this was blamed on the shock of seeing Alicia , then at approximately 12:15 she collapsed again after complaining of being hot and did not come round after five minutes so was sedated on scene by Alicia Hardy Masters her daughter . Her gcs was unrecordable on scene and her blood pressure is low at 100/60 she has been given 5 g of sedation "

Zoe's POV

I am in shock , Connie has just been wheeled through the doors unresponsive after blacking out at home accompanied by Alicia i hadn't seen Alicia since Christmas when she was taken ill so i am glad to see her . I watched as she was wheeled through to Resus where she was hooked up to various machines and the team administered drugs and everything . Charlie came out to where i was standing with Alicia and explained to us that Connie had blacked out due to her blood pressure dropping and and that she hadn't come round after as she received a blow to the head in the crash at Christmas that hadn't been picked up on at the time but it wasn't serious as long she took her blood pressure medication and took it easy as she was confined to bed rest for the next week as any strenuous activity could cause a repeat of this . i was glad she was okay but then Charlie took Alicia to one side and her face lit up with happiness and she squealed and threw her arms round charlie's neck knocking her crutches to the floor, she came back over to me and she whispered "I'm six
weeks pregnant so that puts my due date at november 28th so that means that this little one will have their birthday two days before their two big sisters who will be 11 months when this one arrives, i'm just scared that something will happen to me like when i was pregnant with the twins. I just have a hunch that i'm only carrying one this time and i have a hunch it will be a little boy ."
