You're Mine

*Claire's POV*

"I'm mending inside and we both know why

     I sat with Dave as we watched some ce crappy T.V. sitcom,  it wasn't the best but it was something too occupy the mind.  I had finally married my best friend and it was everything I had hoped it roiled bed.

     "What are you thinking about?" Dave asked as he turned to look at me.

     "Nothing just how much I love you." I told him,  he seemed to believe me.

      "I love you Claire." Dave said making me smile at him.

     The phone rang and it was Erin.  She was calling to let me know what days Truth or Lie was going into studio.

     "Claire, we go into studio tomorrow." Erin said when I finally answered the phone.

      "That's awesome do Rose and Lilly know?" I asked her.

      "No but I'm about to call them." Erin said and I could hear the smile in her voice.

       "Alright we'll talk later." I told Erin.

      "What was that about?" Dave asked.

       "Truth or Lie is going into studio to start recording tomorrow." I told him smiling as I said that.

       "That's great babe." He said as he leaned in and kissed me.

        "That just means the start of some very long days." I said not even anything to think about it.

         "Yeah, but you'll get used to it again." Dave squids with a smile.
     
   "You're right about that." I smiled as I spoke.

     "You tired baby?" Dave asked as I began to fall asleep on his shoulder.

     "Yes very." I said with a small smile.
   
     "Then let's go lay down." Dave said with a smile.

     We stood up and went to the bedroom. I was moving turtle speed,  that's how tired I was. I was mentally preparing for going into the studio the next day.

     "Claire, can I ask you something?" He asked and I smiled.

      "Sure, what is it?" I said with a smile.

      "What do you think our life will be like in a year?" He asked casually.

      "I have no idea but I do know we'll be together through it all." I told him grinning.

      "Yes we will." Dave said as he leaned over and kissed me.

     Morning came early and I was up with the sun because our first day in the studio was starting. I was so nervous that I could barely think straight as I was getting ready.

    "Why are you up so early?" Dave asked still half asleep.

     "Recording today, remember?" I said as I turned around and kissed him.

      "Oh fuck, yeah I almost forgot. Have fun today." He said with a cheeky smile as he spoke.

       "I'm gonna try." I said trying my best to keep the nervousness out of my voice.

      The drive to the studio was a short one and when I got there Rose, Lilly and Erin were already there waiting for me.

      "You ready Claire?" Rose asked with a grin.

       "As I'll ever be." I told her.

      "Great then let's get in there." Erin said as she bounded off towards the door. Rose, Lilly and myself followed right behind her.

     That day we recorded a bunch of new stuff and a couple newer versions of some old Truth or Lie songs. It was a long day and by about seven o'clock we were wiped and decided to call it a day.

    "That's it ladies, I think we can call it a day and come back tomorrow." Rod, the guy who was producing that album for us said.

      "I agree I'm so freaking tired." I said with a smile.

    The only thing I had on my mind was food, sleep, and Dave. Not nessacerily in that order. When I walked through the door, Dave was sitting on the couch with Taylor, Pat, Chris, and Nate. I smiled slightly when I saw the full house.

     "Hey babe, how was it?" Dave asked.
  
      "Good but in hungry, tired and I missed you." I said as I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him.

       "Well why don't you sit down and hang out and I'll make you something to eat." He said with a bright smile as he stood up motioning for me sit down.

     "So Claire, Dave tells us that you and your band are in studio recording." Taylor said with his usual goofy grin.

      "Yeah we are, it's fun but it's been way too long since I had been in a recording studio. This band my highschool success." I said smiling.

       "That's cool, I remember listening to Truth or Lie when they first came out in the mid and late 80s." Taylor said grinning.

      "Yeah we however wound up disbanding when I moved to Seattle and subsequently met Dave and the rest of Nirvana." I said smiling at the thoughts of those particular old memories.

       "Wow I never knew that was why Truth or Lie disbanded." Pat said somewhat shocked.

       "Yeah I had no intentions of ever getting the band back together but Rose, Lilly and Erin convinced me to do it because since I was the vocalist Truth or Lie isn't Truth or Lie without me." I said smiling.

      "That's understandable." Taylor said with a smile.

      Dave came back into the room holding door for me, he just made me a grilled cheese. I smiled and thanked him as he handed it to me and sat down next to me. We all sat around still talking as I was stuffing my face full of food because I hadn't eaten all day. That was the only bad part about being in, Studio all day was there wasn't much time for eating. After I finished I felt happy, fat, and tired and ready to go to bed.

    The guys stayed for a little while longer before taking off. Once they left I decided I was going to bed early that night. Dave was right behind me and it felt relaxing as hell to lay next to him after a long day. The last thing Dave whispered to me before we fell asleep was 'you're mine'.
