*1986*

It was just barely night fall. Rose, Lilly, Erin and myself were backstage getting ready for a show. I was nervous as ever, but I knew I would calm down eventually.

I paced around backstage, I swore I was gonna wear a hole in the floor. Rose, Lilly and Erin thought, nothing of my behavior because it was normal. I always got a little nervous before shows.

   "Claire, you okay?" Lilly asked.

"Yeah just pre-show nerves is all." I told her smiling slightly. Lilly just nodded her head, and gave me a hug. I normally wasn't like that but when I was nervous I welcomed hugs.

The show was getting ready to start and we were finishing up last minute things before we had to go out on stage and perform. I walked out beside Rose, she gave me a smile and we were all blinded by the stage lights at the exact same time.

Before long instincts took over and I did what came naturally to me. Singing and playing. Lilly sat behind her drums, she became a totally different person when she was behind a drum kit and that's why we loved having her on drums. Our show that night had made me feel truly alive, nothing compared to the feeling of playing music love for people who actually wanted to listen.

When the show was finally over we were in back and I was still flying high from the show. Nothing quite builds up adrenaline like playing music like that.

"We did great tonight!" Rose squeaked as she threw her arms around me.

"We sure did!" I said with the same amount of enthusiasm.

"Of course we did." Lilly said hugging both of us."

Erin just shook her head and laughed at us. She was never one for group hugs.

"Erin get your ass over here!" Rose yelled and reluctantly came over and joined in the group hug.

"I love you three you know that right?" I said to them.

"We know." The three of them said in unison. That was quite a night, and I realized there were more nights like that were coming. My past was about to become my future again and I couldn't have been happier about it. So I had to remember my past...  I had to remember how it began.

A/N: I know the chapters from the past are short naturally but sorry for this one being even shorter.
