Recap:
"There's one thing I want to know..." She trailed off kissing my lips lightly.
I smirked against her lips and returned it as I mumbled into her mouth. She walked me to her bed and pushed me down with a light force as she straddled me. She returned her lips to mine and kissed me with a teasing hunger.
"Anything right?" she mumbled licking my bottom lip.
"Yes baby." I moaned into her.
She pushed off of me and spoke with seriousness, "How do you know Tyler?"
Okay. I was not expecting that.
Tyson
"You seduced me!" I cried in horror.
"Yes." she said covering a laugh. "No but really. I need to know."
I could tell she was serious and I knew I needed to tell her. She was a curious girl. I should know better than to try to keep secrets from her. I sighed before deciding Payson's punches were less painful than her cold shoulder.
"Please don't get mad or anything. Please just keep an open mind."
She grabbed my hand in her own and stared me straight into my eyes. "I promise."
I swallowed my pride and sadly smiled at her.
"He's my brother." I said looking straight into her eyes.
She gasped aloud and covered her mouth as she leaned in closer. "Your brother?"
"My twin..." I nodded.
"Oh my." she said nodding for me to continue. "Oh my god. I kissed him!" she admitted as if she suddenly remembered. Kissed? Kiss? I searched my brain for any sign that he had let on about a kiss.
"Kissed?"
She flushed beet red and covered her hands over her face. "I..I just wow. I knew it was something uncanny about the resemblance but I didn't know your mom had two sons..'-
"My parents bought me from the delivery room but Tyson stayed with our birth parents. They were drug addicts. Our father was the worst. He told my mom I died when he sold me. He made Tyler sell drugs and he beat him when he didn't sell enough. Our mom left him with a guy named Joseph."
I paused and looked at her and I saw she knew nothing of a connection of Joseph's murder.
"Our aunt jasmine came to visit one day and found our father dead."
She gasped with a tear in her eye. "She told Tyler he died of an OD but he really died of an over grown cancerous tumor. It was genetic."
"I'm sorry." she mumbled covers her face in her hands. "I should've known."
I grabbed her hands off from over her face, "I didn't want you to know Payson."
"But I should have. I was your best friend. I should have known. I should've helped you or Tyler. He's your brother. I can't believe you had this other world. This other life"- she stopped talking and her eyes widened.
"How'd Nate know?" she asked suddenly.
I looked at her and frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"The mural in Fear of the two boys with the same face. It's you and Tyler. He said he knew." She rambled excited.
"Why were you in Fear Pay? Wait...He knew what?" I asked growing anxious.
