Recap:
"I love you Payson." he spoke into my ear as I shook violently. It was happening again wait but worse.
"Fuck Griffin," I moaned loudly screaming his name as we climaxed.
I could've sworn my eyes rolled to the back of my head.
He kissed me on my sweaty forehead as he laid next to me. He pulled me into him as he pulled the sheet over us. I cuddled into him and kissed his chest. "I love you too Griffin." I said as I closed my eyes and slept.
Fighting Words
"Babe wake up." I was being shaken by a very soft hand. I stirred a little as I rolled on my side trying to hide the light from my eyes.
"Five minutes mom." I grumbled lazily.
"Payson." Griffin whined. I rolled my eyes and slowly lifted up wiping my face in a totally unattractive manor.
"Cute." he said pinching my cheeks.
"I know it is, Clueless."
"Clueless?" he asked looking at me annoyed.
"Yes." I said stifling a yawn. "It's your new name Clueless."
"No." he argued.
"Sorry all sales are final." I shot back stubbornly.
"Payson!"
"I'm sorry but why'd you wake me up?" I asked suddenly missing sleep. I was having a dream that I was Cookie Monster's Evil Lair and he was harvesting artificial cookies made from the same shit as chicken nuggets.
"I ran you a bath." he said quietly.
I looked up at him in adoration. "Is it as awesome as your shower?"
He nodded with a smirk. "better."
I rolled out of the bed with all intentions of running to the bathroom but instead I fell to my knees.
"Holy fuck my body is sore." I said crawling.
Griffin smirked.
"I'll carry you Spud." he said picking me up by my waist.
"Spud? no way."
"Stop calling me clueless."
"Not happening, clueless."
"Okay then Spud."
I crossed my arms in defeat. We walked out of his room and up a small flight of stairs in silence.
"You haven't said anything about last night." He said suddenly breaking our silent walk.
It was true I hadn't. I wasn't doing it purposely. I just didn't know what to say. It was all so...
"Perfect." I said aloud. "It was perfect."
He looked down at me with wide eyes as he opened the door the most beautiful bathroom I had ever seen. It had a jacuzzi tub. A freaking whirlpool bathtub.
"Punch me am I dreaming?" I said in awe.
"I thought the saying was pinch."
"Yeah that too." I said distracted on the rose petals everywhere.
I don't think I could do a round two without use of my legs.
"Griffin"-
"It's a gesture. Nothing more." he said sending me worried glances.
