My power was restored to a large level, I could feel the dark energy inside of me, healing and giving me the strength I lost all those years I spent asleep. Carlos was on me and was looking out for any new surprise attacks, we've dealt with twelve or thirteen up to this point. My new Master was in his castle and apparently he was upset that none of these beasts he sent died without so much as giving me a scratch. I didn't mind it, after all I was going to end what I should have finished three thousand years ago, I was going to end my original masters bloodline for good, I may not be able to stop the events that will take place when the Black Sun arrives but I can make sure that he will not create anything like me again, I couldn't let such a mistake to repeat itself. Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted, I saw one of the beasts coming my way and it seemed... worried. It looked different from the others of its kind so I wasn't expecting anything important to happen. I was curious as to why it seemed so heartbroken, surely that this was not normal for heartless beast like this one, so why was he so different than those I came across an hour ago? Could be longer but honestly, I didn't care at the slightest.  Then the beast saw me and approached slowly, cautiously. When I looked at it I thought I saw a spark of hope in it's eyes, I couldn't believe how much human-like its gaze seemed! Truly something unusal.

- Please tell me have you seen my daughter? A deep, male voice came from the beast, a male beast, looking for his daughter? That's new.

- No, I haven't. Does she look like you? I asked curious, I wasn't sure how to deal with him but apparently, I didn't need to kill him.

- Yes but... but...

- But what? Carlos asked him impatiently. I left a low laugh as I looked at the eagle for a moment before returning my attention to the beast.

- She is half human so I don't know if she is with her human form or not. If she is though, she might be in trouble. He said, his agony was dominant in both his face and his voice.

- Half human? Then could it be... that you're the king who gave his power away when the Dark Priest came, in order to save his daughter's life? Carlos asked, his ability to speak incredibly fast was amusing, aside from that I had a feeling he knew where the girl was and what she was doing right now.

- Yes but please tell me. How did you know that? The beast asked him, I had the answer to that. Another bird must have told him when he went out to hunt. Birds just can't pipe down, ever.

- I heard about your daughter, she was chosen as one of the beasts that were sent in order to kill young Max and his friends. She must over there fighting them.

- What?! Oh no!

- Why are you so afraid? I asked him and he looked at me in despair.

- Because if that's true she must be dead by now. Then I saw something I will never forget in my life, I saw that beast crying right then and there, it was a mournfull cry, filled with unberable sorrow.

- What if she is not dead? I asked and looked at him as friendly as I could. The years of imprisoment weren't exactly helpfull for communication in the long run.

- Then I have to go there and help her. He said with determination. Interesting, truly an impressive action.

- Very well, then. We will make a deal, one you might want to consider. I intent to kill the Black Priest once my power is full. If you help me achieve my goal then I'll help you find your daughter and lend you my strength. I said and he seemed suprised at my offer. Soon enough there wasn't a single trace of hesitation as he spoke his decision to me.

- I am more than willing to help, I don't have any sympathy for him anyway. By the way, my name is Arthur. It's a pleasure to meet you, Deus.

- Very well then Arthur, you just made a good friend. I said and Carlos flapped his wings coming between me and Arthur.
