I was exhausted, so much that my body was aching. Maybe it was due to my age? The only thing I knew was that I had been traveling with Carlos and Arthur for several days without stopping even for a minute. Both of them were sleeping on my back, tired from a long day of flying endlessly. I kept a gentle pace as I felt the two of them waking up, the sun was just getting out and I smiled, it certainly felt nice being with company.
- We have to be quick. I said when the two of them came back after hunting down their breakfast for a few hours. They had their stomach full and they had brought a small snack for me too.
- Deus.... I am sure you felt it too. Arthur told me as we moved on, his voice was serious and cold.
- Yes indeed I felt it, he wants to come back, I guess it's not over yet. However, no matter what he will not make it back to the world of the living.
- How can you be so sure about that? Carlos asked me curious as to why I had answered the way I did.
- Because as long as I can breathe, I will fight him. I will kill as many times I have to. I said and I was more than just serious about that. The cursed bloodline would not be continued, not in my watch.
- Then let us help you get rid of him, if you hate him, so do we. Carlos opened his wings and start flying as fast as he could. After half an hour or so he came back.
- Well? I asked him.
- I asked all the birds and animals wround here, if they see anything unusual around here to inform me immediately.
- I see. Thanks Carlos.
- By the way, I heard that Max and his friends are in the mansion of the twin priests. Not only that, he had discovered the Red Thunder. He said with a wide grin, as I heard the name of that attack, I had to admit I was surprised. Only a few can master that technique in such a small period of time. The original king had been one of them. In the past there had been candidated who would fight me using this attack, some of them were pathetic and some of them were good. But only one mastered it perfectly.
- Deus, I think it would be best to make sure that young Max will also learn the Black Scream. Arthur said and I gave it much thought. The Black Scream was a very dangerous technique, Arthur knew most of these tecniques because of the Black Priest, no doubt. That man must have boasted about anything and so did his father, I know from experience.
- Maybe I should tell him. I admit he is a good warrior but he hasn't reached the absoloute best of his abilities. It won't be easy for him to defeat me unless he discovers his full power and I'm afraid that when he does, my power will be nothing more than a bug flying around a spider web.
- You might will not have to fight him at all. Carlos protested.
- Maybe. Anyway, we do not have time for this, I am not going to let the Black Priest come back to life even if that means that I will have to pass another 3.000 years half-dead to succeed in doing so.
- Calm down, Deus. We will stop him, I promise you that. Arthur said and I gazed at the horizon, my mind racing back to memories I had tried to forget but in vain. Sometimes the past is more powerfull than one's willpower.
- I have to open a gate to the other world. There is no other way.
- Wait a minute... you mean... Hell? Carlos asked and he looked a bit scared.
- Don't be such a chicken Carlos. Arthur teased.
- I am an eagle not a chicken and I am not afraid. He said obviously lying.
- Well then, time to cross to the other side.... GATE OF THE FORBIDDEN REALMS!!! I DEUS DRAGON OF DISTRACTION, THE OUTSIDER!!! I AM ASKING FOR OERMISSION TO PASS THROUGH AND VISIT THE WORLD OF THE DEAD! I shouted as I threw large amounts of black energy around me, summoning the one and only Gate of Hell. A moment later, a huge black door with carved demons fighting and tortured human forms appeared. As it opened the kingdom of Hell was revealed to us. We passed through the portal and we went in a place that didn't have the best welcoming party. I saw souls of millions of humans beings walking, running around as they mourned and cried. Those who saw me run away in fear. A river of blood was beneath me and in this river, I could hear humans screaming and babies crying, I didn't look down. No, wonder everyone was afraid of Hell. The sky was pitch black with only a few red clouds appearing here and there. The ground was crumbling and I saw many souls falling into raw magma. We were forced to fly in order to look for what we wanted for.
