We've been traveling for three days after the fall of the Black Priest. Emilia was always taking care of Kathryn, Jasper was quiet while Mark, and Jason were fooling around, nothing out of the ordinary. Goroh was reading an ancient scroll so we could find the next priest so I was expecting a clue or at least some sort of hint. In the meantime I had been practicing on using the sword of the legendary king. It was then when it happened! The blade turned of my sword turned a vibrant red and the moment I tried to cut a tree, lightning circled the blade and as I made a swing the lightning expanded like a whip, a moment later seven tries were on the ground and a rock was left half.
- What happened here? Mark asked everyone.
- I have absolutely no idea. Jason answered as he came closer.
- Max are you okay? Emilia asked me and then I somehow managed to pass the shock that had taken hold of me.
- Yes but... what was that?
- I believe it was the Red Thunder. I read about it in a book before. This was one of the many techniques which were used by king Lionel three thousand years ago in order to seal Deus away. This sword has different kind of ancient magic techniques which must be locked when Lionel died. So long as there members of the 12 priests around the sword will reveal it's secrets and powers. Goroh explained and I looked at the sword. Could it really be that powerfull?
- So... If I find the rest priests... this sword, Lionel's sword, will have more magic powers than before or will it just unlock it's previous ones? I mean there has to be some sort of progress since the age of Lionel. I said and Goroh was puzzled with this as well, maybe the sword had allowed me to use the Red Thunder for a reason. But what reason exactly?
- I think we can discuss this later. our problem now is that we have to find the other priests. Jasper said and I nodded.
- We are in Arstandia... I believe it was also called "The town of the priest of Hell". Emilia said and that didn't sound encouraging... at all.
- Priest of Hell? Kathryn looked a bit worried, truth be told the fact that he had the word "hell" stuck with him was kind of disturbing.
- Yes but... where are we going to find him? Mark asked and I stared at him for a while before I turned my attention back to the group.
- "Find them". Goroh corrected him.
- Wait, them? How many are they? I asked and I had a bad feeling about this.
- They are twins. Emilia said and I wondered how did she know.
- We can sense another priest if we are close enough. Goroh explained and that might had proved more usefull if it was said from the start!
- Oh my. We are going to meet Devil, literally. Jasper said and looked down.
- Well I think they live in the plain of the Black roses. Goroh said and looked at the distance.
- Let's go, I am really curious to see what kind of element they control. I said already excited to meet these two.
- Life and death. Jasper said and I looked at him confused.
- What?
- Their elements are life and death. They can help someone's life become better or kill him with pain or without pain. Emilia explained and my enthusiasm was cut short.
- I hope they won't practice on me. Kathryn said and this time fear was the only thing I could see in her face. She had every reason to be scared, she was half beast.
- If they try I will beat them up until there is nothing left of them. I promise. I heard Emilia telling her in a low tone. Kathryn nodded and hugged her sister, I began moving with the other tailing behind me. After a few hours, we saw the plain Goroh mentioned and after a close inspection went closer. There in the middle of the plain we saw a house witch looked so old, it seemed ready to fall at any moment. Many windows were broken, Timber was all around the place along with rotten metal and the garden was a disgusting mess of dead plants and weeds. A moment later two children who looked exactly the same came out of the house. They had long black hair and green eyes, they were around the age of eleven, thirteen at the most.
