Not half an hour after we left the Black forest I punched the nearest tree and growled, I was sick and tired of Emilia's tricks. She was using us and was waiting for us to do the hard part while she awaited comfortably with Eric. She wanted us to end the curse and then she would definitely try to kill us all to satisfy her blood lust and hatefull heart.Thankfully it wasn't just me but everyone that was angry with her, not only because she was playing with us but also because she almost killed Lucia. She was half-dead when I arrived at their battlefield. Emilia had scratched that could barely be seen and Lucia was almost burned to death! How could she do that to another priestess? Someone who in the theory was closer to her than me since the both had unique gifts given by something above us humans.
- Dammit!!!! I said enraged, there were so many questions in my mind and so many emotions, I didn't know if I was mostly angry or sad.
- She has a lot of nerve. That damn traitor!!!! Mark said furious and I looked at him before looking at the rest of our team.
- Emilia is a monster, just like the Black priest. Jason said and everyone nodded.
- You shouldn't speak like that about a comrade. A voice said gently and a girl around the age of sixteen appeared, she had long dark brown hair with blonde tips and crimson red eyes. She had such a pale skin she looked like a corpse to me instead of a living human. She was dressed up with a long white dress with a light golden belt and over it she wore a light blue cape. In the top of her dress, she had a pendant with a star made from some sort of crystal.
- Who are you? Luca asked suspiciously.
- My name is Luna Corabilent, I am the priestess of light, one of the elements needed to stop the curse of the Black Sun. I am pleased to meet all of you. She said and smiled gently at us. I heard someone murmur and looked at Mark who was looking at her with a face as red as an apple. Looks like love was in the air.
- We are happy to meet you too, Luna. Jason said smiling at her before shaking her hand.
- You said we shouldn't insult Emilia. Why? She's a traitor and a bloodthirsty beast just like the Black priest. Lucia said disgusted.
- No, she's not like that I can assure you. The dark energy has captured her spirit and turned it to evil while projecting schemes that don't exist to fill her wounded heart with hatred and rage. She wasn't really like this and you should be aware of it, the more she stays with the Black priest the more her heart sinks into the hatred and rage the darkness offers and that only makes her pain impossible to soothe, anyone would be driven to this state if they willingly allowed the darkness to enter them without any kind of protection against it. Luna said and everyone was looking at her with a doubt on their faces but what she said wasn't unreasonable.
- Have you actually met her? She only thinks about how to make us suffer these days. Elena said and looked at her twin.
- Because of the dark energy that makes her see illusions. I was there the whole time and saw everything but because of my element I could do nothing. Emilia believes that you want to deceive her, that you want to use her as a toy and then abandon her when she won't be needed anymore. And that hurts her a lot, she also believes that she was never your friend to begin with. That can make even the most gentle person, a cruel and cold hearted beast. Luna said calmly.
- How are you so sure about that? I asked her curiously.
- Emilia accepted the dark energy believing it won't harm her, she trusted the Black priest, who surprisingly enough did try to give her some sort of protection so that she wouldn't change even more than she already has. However, she lost control of her anger and fear before the protection she received was complete, and in a place where darkness reigns like this... I saw her asking the Black priest if what she was doing was right thing to do so before leaving. That means she has a small light deep in her heart that makes her doubt herself even now.
