The dragon of hope rises

I had been living in this cave for more than four hundrend years. I was born in this place and I am kept as a prisoner here by Darkan, a man that vesels everything that is evil in this world. He used a powerfull barrier to keep here since the day I was born while he waits the day of the Black Sun's final arrival. My name is Regina, I... am the dragon of justice and truth. There are a few locals who usually visit me, they were the family I never had. They still bring me food water and they read me stories about different creatures and heroes, when Darkan is not around. If only every day was that pleasant...

My thoughts are suddenly being interrupted by a strange, unfamiliar scent. I can see a small shadow on the entrance of my personal prison. I wonder who might be, it's certainly isn't a villager or anything close to a human.

- Who's there? I asked and after a short period of time, I saw the unknown form approaching. It's a mountain lion!!! A male one at that, well that's new.

- I'm Alex..... sorry, I didn't know you live here.

- No it's okay. I am Regina and I am actually imprisoned here. 

- Really? Who did this to you, if I may ask?

- Darkan, the embodiment of absolute evil. I am the dragon who can save the mighty Deus, dragon of destruction. Darkan knows that if I am not present during the arrival of the Black Sun then Deus will destroy the world and the curse of the Black Sun shall be fullfilled.

- But won't he die as well?

- He will. But since he is the darkness he can feed on Deus despair and sadness and in the end he can revive himself and become the most powerfull being alive. I explained and he seemed terrified. Well, it was impressive since he was willing to go through all this trouble for a mere title.

- You must escape from here. If you stay he will most probably kill you.

- I can't, my powers aren't as powerfull as his. I said and he looked at me curious.

- Have you tried it before?

- No but... he told me that I was only going to waste my time.... not to mention embarrass myself. I said and he looked at me a bit angry.

- He's just trying to discourage you. In fact he might be lying about you being weaker than him. Try it. He said but then I sensed Darkans presence along with another girl, her aura was pure and I could feel a strong connection with a very speciffic element. Who was she? More importantly, that scoundrel was coming this way and this mountain lion, Alex would certainly get himself killed, I looked at him scared, he had to hide somewhere!

- What's wrong Regina?

-  Quick,hide! Darkan's coming. He mustn't see you, if he does you're dead. I whispered and he hid himself in a dark corner of the cave, it was close to the barrier but because of the lack of light around here he was definetely going to be unseen by Darkan. And his timing couldn't be better because as I looked away, Darkan appeared in the entrance.

- Good morning Regina. How do you do? He said with a smile in his face. Right behind him, a bunch of shadows were holding a young woman around the age of 27, I had to admit she was truly enchanting. She had long curly golden hair that grew a darker shade of yellow as they fell down her waist and had emerald green eyes with a hint of grey in them as well, her skin was neither dark nor completely white... somewhere in between and her figure very impressive.

- Who is she? You don't usually bring guests with you Darkan. I said and his smile grew larger.

- This is Gabriela, the priestess of earth.
