The sound of a blaring alarm and hurried movements woke her up.
Miyo looked over to see Izuku hurried silencing the clock, already dressed and ready to leave. Her eyes felt swollen, and she remembered what happened last night.
"I.." She spoke, only to realize she didn't know what to say. Her voice was hoarse from crying, and her throat felt dry. Her gaze dropped to stare at the sheets.
She felt a hand placed on top of her head, rubbing it lightly. The motion was a thing Izuku didn't do often, and it calmed her.
"I don't know what happened last night, but if you don't want to say anything, I won't pressure you. I just want to make sure you're okay. Are you okay?" He rambled, his hand holding still, but still resting on her head. Miyo nodded, sitting up.
"I'm okay now. I don't know what happened either, I haven't freaked out like that in a while..."
She glanced at the clock, and shouted out in surprise. "We have to leave in five minutes!" She exclaimed, jumping out of bed and tugging on a pair of joggers, a crop top, and sneakers. "Come on!"
She grabbed her house key off the rack by the door, tugging Izuku along behind her as she ran to the beach. About halfway, Izuku managed to even his pace with her so she wasn't dragging him. They jogged in silence as they ran, and Miyo reached up to pull her hair back.
"Young Midoriya's! I have been waiting!" A voice boomed, followed by a hearty laugh. All Might stood there, in his hero form. A glance at her watch showed they were right on time, but she didn't pay too much mind to All Might's words.
Izuku got straight to work, lugging items strewn about on the beach to the truck. Miyo sat and watched as he pushed himself to get as much done before they had to leave for school. She wasn't too sure if she should just sit and watch, or do something to busy herself.
She settled for going for a run, and stood up. Dusting herself off, she called out to Izuku. "I'm going to go run for a bit! Don't slack!"
All Might, now in his normal form, nodded at her as she turned to leave.
Miyo ran at an even pace, her hair swinging around behind her. The air was warm, and the sun had begun to rise. Jogging gave her time to think, and time to reflect on things.
She thought about All Might and his story. She thought about All for One and Izuku's ten months to prepare for inheriting the power. It had been about a month since he started, so he only had nine months left before the entrance exams.
Miyo's mind drifted to last night's events. She remembered her mother being in the room as well, but was likely too startled to act. She suddenly felt very thankful for Izuku's quick thinking at the time. He managed to calm her down. She was sure it took at least an hour for her to stop hyperventilating and wailing in her panic.
She hadn't had a panic attack like that in months, she had begun to think they'd stopped. Until last night had to prove her wrong.
Glancing down at her hands, she noticed bandages wrapped around her hand. How had she not felt them? Seeing the bandages brought her attention to the stinging pain throughout them
She would have to ask Izuku about that later.
Glancing around, she realized she was in a part of her town she rarely visited. Her feet quit moving and she turned around. Miyo began to jog back, sweat rolling down her face.
She returned to the beach to see Izuku struggling to drag a file cabinet. She chuckled lightly at the sight. Approaching All Might, Miyo sat down on the ledge next to him.
