Miyo sat in class, staring at a book. She wasn't even reading it, the words went in one ear and out the other. If that made sense.
The teacher had brought up the topic of what people planned to do for their future, but tossed away a stack of paper. "But...
"I assume you all plan on the hero course, huh?" Everyone started cheering and activating their Quirks, much to Miyo's annoyance.Katsuki Bakugo muttered something she didn't bother to listen to. He jumped onto his desk, irritating Miyo even further. "Katsuki, quit embarrassing yourself. It's annoying," She spoke, kicking his legs out from under him and knocking him off the desk. This drew the attention away from Izuku, her brother, and to her and Katsuki.
"Oi! Hana, what the hell?!" Katsuki exclaimed, jumping up as he held a bump on his head. Whoops, she didn't mean to do that. She shrugged and returned to her book, giving a small smile to Izuku.
"Hah, I bet you couldn't even get into the general studies course at UA, Hana." Katsuki smirked, most likely trying to provoke her. She presumed that the teacher also mentioned that she, too, wanted to be in the hero course.
The nickname Hana came from when Miyo was first adopted into the family. Izuku had a hard time pronouncing her name, so he started calling her Hana. The name passed on to Katsuki when he met her, and they haven't called her anything else since. Well, name-wise.
"And you'll end up suspended, or even expelled, if you think you can wave your quirk around like that." She sighed at the boy. She could feel Izuku getting mad at Katsuki's harassment, but she knew he wouldn't do anything out of fear of his wrath
"What'd you say?!" He exclaimed, slamming a hand on her desk and breaking it like he did to Izuku's. Staring at the desk, she looked up at Katsuki with a blank expression.
"Pretty sure that's gonna cost a lot to replace, and the school's not gonna let you sit there without compensation. See you." She spoke as the bell rang, gathering her things and leaving the room with Izuku to go to lunch.

The sound of yelling drew Miyo to pull out her earbuds. As the music faded away, she turned to see a sight that, sadly, was not unusual. Katsuki was, once again, bullying Izuku. She despised him, but he was infatuated with her and for some reason believed that the best way to win her affection was with violence and threats towards someone who was her brother in all ways except blood.
Miyo stood up and walked over, an icy glare on her face. Katsuki's anger could be considered the loud, hot kind, while hers was often described as cold, and threatening. Katsuki's goons noticed her and grinned for a moment, only to have the expression drop quickly when she turned her gaze onto them.
"Move." She spoke, slightly startled by the tone of her voice. Was she really that intimidating?
The two boys quickly jumped out of the way and let her stalk forward, grabbing Katsuki roughly by his shoulder. "Leave him alone," she seethed. All the blonde did was grin and grab her by the collar, pulling her close.
"I wonder what would happen if I were to kiss you, right here and now~" He smirked, causing Miyo's eyes to widen. She struggled in his grip, but eventually gave up and settled for kicking his knee. While he was hopping around and clutching his knee, Miyo grabbed Izuku and dragged him out of the classroom. "I'll get you to date me, Hana! Deku, you better stay away from UA!" Katsuki called after them as they ran.
"Hana- Hana, wait!" Izuku exclaimed, trying to gather his footing. Stopping, Miyo turned to him, placing her hands on her hips.
"You can't just sit there and let him bully you, Izuku." She sighed, running a hand through her hair and pulling it into a low ponytail. Izuku gave her a guilty look, before looking down with a dejected frown. "Izu, just because you don't have a quirk doesn't mean you can't fight back. He could technically get in a lot of trouble for using his quirk on school grounds, especially since he used it to bully you," Miyo explained, placing a hand on his shoulder.
