Miyo was wrong. Dead wrong. She had been fairly enthusiastic about the exams throughout the prior days. Despite that, the entrance exams never failed to be intimidating the day of. The large building in front of her seemed to grow three times its size the longer she looked at it.

"Out of my way, Deku, Hana," a voice growled from behind them. Izuku almost lunged out of the way, but Miyo only turned to face Katsuki. She stood with her feet planted, not moving. Maybe he'd get the hint and go around her.

He didn't. Katsuki narrowed his eyes further, walking straight forward. Neither of the two moved, so Katsuki eventually bumped into Miyo and shoved her to the side. "I told you to move, dumbass."

Miyo glared, rubbing her shoulder. It was cold outside, and her breath came out in white puffs. As she turned, she spotted Izuku talking to a small girl with brown hair. He was stuttering out of his mind, and yet the other girl was oblivious to the repeated words and fillers.

As Miyo approached, the smaller girl looked up at her with a wide smile. "Hello! I'm Ochako Uraraka!" She exclaimed, waving a hand.

"Miyo Midoriya, and this one here is my brother, Izuku." Miyo responded, smiling politely. She rested an arm on Izuku's shoulder, who was still shaking.

"Nice to meet you! I should go now, though. Good luck on the exams!" Uraraka grinned, waving as she jogged towards the entrance.

Izuku snapped out of his stupor, and Miyo led him forwards to the entrance. "Well, she was nice. Cute, too." Miyo grinned, acting like Izuku hadn't stuttered like a broken record.

"My first time talking to a girl..!" He muttered, a stupid grin on his face. Miyo chuckled, ruffling his hair.

"Whatever you say. Come on, we need to hurry!" She exclaimed, grabbing Izuku's hand and pulling him along as she jogged forward.

The writing part of the exams was over, and Miyo was fairly confident that she achieved a good grade. Now, though, came the practicals. It was the half of the exam she worried the most about. She didn't know what the task was, and if her Quirk would be useful or not.

The examinees all sat inside what appeared to be a lecture hall, lined up by order of entry. She took a seat next to Izuku, who was unfortunately next to Katsuki. His discomfort was obvious, and he tried to put as much distance between them as possible. Miyo grabbed his hand, squeezing it reassuringly. Izuku's hands trembled, but he squeezed back.

"Hello Listeners!" Present Mic's booming voice announced, drawing everyone's attention. "Time for the part you've all been waiting for!"

Miyo listened to the instructions, listening for any double meanings that could possibly give her an advantage. No luck, but listening to Izuku's muttering gave her some hope that he had some semblance of what to do.

"Shut up," Katsuki growled, his eyes still trained forwards. Miyo glared at him through the corner of her eyes, but seemed unphased.

"Excuse me! My name is Tenya Iida, and it says here that there are four robots we have to fight!" A boy a couple rows in front of Miyo stood up, his voice direct and even. He had glasses with similar frames to hers, though they were thin and more rectangle.

"If this was a mistake, it is an embarrassment on UA's part!" He concluded, holding up the paper that was given out. "Another thing! You back there, with the curly green hair! You are muttering, and it is very distracting! Please cease this at once!" He added, turning to point at Izuku.
