"Let's see what you are all made of!" All Might announced, standing proudly in front of the group. "It's time for the battle trials! These will be indoors, and you will be working in pairs against another pair of students!"

Susumu, Aoyama, and Miyo all shared a glance, before turning back to All Might, who was talking about villainy and its effect on society.

"Statistically, the better part of villain cleanup is indoors, since most acts of villainy is committed inside closed walls." He threw his arms out wide, laughing. "For this training, we will have 'villains' guarding a nuclear bomb they intend on detonating! The heroes must stop them before it is too late!"

The entire class broke out into whispers, before All Might hushed them by raising an arm. "Your teammates will be chosen...by lottery!"

The three shared a glance once more, before joining the line of people that formed to draw their lots. All Might didn't hold out the lottery box until after he spoke once more.

"Due to our class of twenty-two students, we cannot split everyone up evenly. So! This means that one pairing will fight each other on their own, without teammates. Midoriya! Susumu! Please come forth!"

Miyo and Susumu both stepped forwards, though Izuku looked as if he believed All Might was addressing him, until he noticed his idol had been making eye contact with Miyo.

All Might walked over to them while the rest of the other students drew lots for their teams, pulling them aside.

"You two have very similar Quirks, a problem that does arise in hero work quite often. I would like you two to face off against each other on your own, no teammates. Susumu, you will be the hero. Midoriya, you will be the villain." He said, clapping them on their backs. "Good luck!"

Susumu turned and grinned at Miyo, holding out a hand. "May the best plant win!" Miyo arched an eyebrow at the comment, but she smirked and took his hand, shaking it.

All Might allowed them to go first, so they could get it out of the way. Miyo was told to run ahead, given a moment to get a head start on preparing for Susumu's attempted capture.

The 'bomb' was locating inside the top room, furthest from the entrance. Go figure. Inside the room was the bomb, obviously, but also a few tables with blueprints and other props strewn around. Miyo sighed, tutting at the clutter. This'll be in the way.

She swept all of the papers clean, using her vines to help lift the tables and place them at the entrance of the room. The barricade would hopefully slow him down enough for her to prepare for his attack, and hopefully hide so she could sneak up on him. Due to their similar Quirks, she would need all the advantage she could get.

Once the tables were stacked in front of the door, a few wedged within each other and one shoved under the doorknob to make it difficult to open, she glanced around quickly for a place to hide. A look over her head brought rafters to her attention, and she quickly looped a vine around one to pull herself up.

She ran along the roof supports until she was right above the space just in front of the tables, ready to jump on Susumu when he eventually broke through them.

Miyo had hidden the Bomb away, behind a tall pillar. It wasn't the best hiding spot, but it was enough to stall him for a minute or two.

Villainy was not her strong suit.

Takeo wasn't sure how the practical exercise would result. There was no doubt that Midoriya had plan, and he was almost winging this entirely. He ran his hands through his hair with a sigh, unzipping his tracksuit top and tying it around his waist. Once his back was clear, he allowed his tree branches to appear from his back, scattering leaves everywhere.
