The bus ride was loud, with people yelling back and forth as they talked across the vehicle. Sitting next to Izuku, Miyo leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. Depending on how far away USJ was, she'd hopefully get a nap in beforehand to recharge.
Izuku talked with Uraraka, who was sitting on his other side, but placed one hand on the side of her head to hold her up. Miyo tried to ignore the 'aww's and 'that's adorable!'s, instead opting for an attempt at sleeping.
After a mini-nap, she was awoken by Izuku shaking her shoulder slightly. "Hana, we're here.."
Miyo nodded, standing up to stretch and make sure she had her staff still clipped to her belt. It was laying on the seat, so she grabbed it and followed the rest of her class off the bus.
"Today we will be doing rescue training in different environments, led by rescue hero Thirteen." Aizawa said, scratching at his stubble. Uraraka gasped quietly and began to freak out over the fact that, yes, Thirteen was really here and they were really teaching us.
"Now, if you'll just follow us inside, you'll see the different landscapes we will be using during these exercises.."
The class all lined up and walked through the doors after Aizawa and Thirteen, and Miyo gaped in awe at the sheer size of the building, along with the diversity of environments to practice in.
Further inside, they all stood on the platform near the entrance. Just as Aizawa and Thirteen turned around to explain their lesson, a hazy, purple mist appeared in front of them, further down the room.
"Fake villains? Is there anything this school doesn't have?" Kaminari whispered, slapping Kirishima's arm excitedly.
"Those aren't fake villains.." Aizawa said, turning around. He slipped his goggles on and leapt forwards, calling out to Thirteen as he jumped, "Make sure everyone stays here! Try and call the school!"
"Cell phone services are blocked, we can't contact the school!" Kirishima called, holding his phone in his hand. Miyo looked around nervously, stepping back cautiously. She bumped into someone, and they both fell back into darkness.
"Midoriya?!" A voice she recognized as Susumu called out, a hand gripping her wrist. Their vision brightened up, and they were thrown into a grassland. Landing roughly on her back, Miyo had to take a minute to catch her breath.
"Oho, look what we have here. Hello, Takeo." A voice called, and Susumu's eyes widened considerably.
"Oh? And Miyo? I haven't seen you two in years!" The voice cackled, and Miyo tensed as her name was used. The voice was only vaguely familiar, from memories lost ages ago.
Susumu stood and helped Miyo up, glaring at the man in front of them. "Thorn," He ground out, and Miyo reached for her staff.
"Ah, Miyo, I wouldn't do that if I were you," Thorn said, and something whizzed by her hand, cutting it slightly. Blood dripped down her fingers, and she cradled her hand to her chest.
The man before them had brown hair in a crew cut, along with freckles and brown eyes. He was quite tall, and his face looked well cared for, for a villain.
"Now, you two, Mother and Father have requested that I accompany our colleagues on this mission, and retrieve you two." Another sharp object scraped her cheek, and the cut began to bleed. Beside her, Susumu held his left hand in his right, blood dripping down the palm.
"They said not to incapacitate you two permanently, but they didn't say I couldn't toy around for a bit."
Miyo shared a glance with Susumu, before quickly jumping to the side as another sharp object whizzes by her face.
