Scott was awake by the time Mitch finished his toast and had started making coffee.

"Good morning," he yawned, standing up off the couch and stretching out.

Mitch startled, then smiled, watching as Scott walked over to him. "Morning."

Scott looked at the kitchen counter in dismay. "What's for breakfast?"

Mitch just had to laugh.

He was so perfect, exactly as Mitch had written him.

The perfect man.

"I already ate," he confessed, brown eyes trailing over to the toaster.

Scott shook his head, a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh no. Toast is not a good enough breakfast."

Mitch wanted to argue, but he also wanted to see what Scott would come up with.

"Oh," he giggled, giving in. "You can have whatever you want... or rather whatever you can find. I kinda need to get groceries."

Scott was an amazing cook.

Mitch knew this already, of course he did, but eating a proper meal before noon was a rarity for him.

And he hadn't had breakfast that good in a long time.
