"I like that part," Mitch blushed, pointing at a paragraph on his laptop that Scott had just written.
Scott smiled with pride, eyes sparkling. "Yeah?"
Mitch nodded, his finger moving along the sentences as he mentally re-read them. "Yeah. It's well written and very us."
Scott cleared his throat and started to read.
"Mitch was laughing on my couch when it finally hit me: I had a crush.
More than a crush, but it felt too scary to admit that yet, even just to myself.
The realization was surprising somehow and I had to leave the room mid-conversation.
Mitch followed me to the bathroom.
'What's wrong Scotty?' He asked from the hallway.
The door was shut between us.
'Oh um, I just felt a little sick, that's all. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine.'
I didn't know if having a crush was equivalent to being sick, but to me, it sure as hell felt like it."
