They had a fun time with Kirstie.

It was awkward between her and Mitch in the beginning but Scott took control over that conversation and it all worked out.

"I heard you did stuff on Broadway," Scott smiled.

His right hand was being death-gripped by Mitch, who was sitting pressed against him on the couch.

Kirstie grinned back and her black curls bounced gently as she nodded her head.

"I did! My last show ended May 3rd," she replied animatedly.

"Which show were you in?"

Scott let go of Mitch's hand (with difficultly) and draped his arm over Mitch instead.

"Kinky Boots," Kirstie said. "I was a character called Lauren and..."

As Kirstie rambled excitedly about her career, Scott glanced at Mitch.

"You okay?" He mouthed to the smaller man.

Mitch nodded and gave a small smile.

"That's awesome Kirst," Mitch replied when she stopped talking, and Scott was proud that he was making an effort.

The actress preened under the praise from her old friend.

"Thank you, but that's enough about me! Tell me how you've been!"

Mitch smirked, giving Scott a meaningful look.

"Well," he said.
