Taehyung watched as the woman smiled at him and walked through the crowd of people to get to him.
"Well, that's my cue to leave. You better get laid by the end of tonight. Bye." Yoongi waved goodbye to Taehyung as he drank the rest of his mojito and set the glass down.
Taehyung reached out for his hyung, but Yoongi twirled around to dodge him. Yoongi winked at him with a snap of his fingers and disappeared into the crowd of dancing people.
Taehyung desperately sighed to himself as the woman reached him. He nervously smiled at her as she sat on the stool Yoongi was previously sitting on. She ordered two shots of bourbon.
The bartender gave her the two shots and she slid one of it to Taehyung. She raised an eyebrow as she downed the glass. Taehyung stared at the glass before doing the same.
"Rough day?" she asked.
Taehyung nodded. "You wouldn't believe it."
"I'm Nika. Nice to meet you."
"I'm Taehyung. It's—uh—nice to meet you too."
Jungkook could see his hyung looking awkward from ten feet away and he cringed as he danced with the women around him. He tried to gain Taehyung's attention by waving his arms around, and he succeeded.
Taehyung looked over at Jungkook with furrowed in eyebrows as Nika talked to the bartender about new drinks. Taehyung made a face and shrugged, his shoulders raising up along with his hand.
Jungkook rolled his eyes and made a drinking gesture with his hand. He tilted his head back as he drank down an invisible drink with his pinky up.
"You want me to drink more?" he whispered.
Taehyung copied Jungkook's gesture and pointed to the bar with a questionable expression on his face. Jungkook eagerly nodded and gave a thumbs up.
"Um—" Taehyung started, gaining Nika's attention "—do you want to drink some more and talk? About life?"
Nika smiled, a soft and humorous expression on her face. "Sure, it sounds like fun."
