Taehyung was praying for both Uri and his own life as she pushed the car to its limit, definitely breaking the speed limit.

"Uri, don't you think you should calm down on the speed?!" Taehyung shouted out.

"If we don't die because of my speed, we'll die because of the mafia!" she shouted back, shooting him a quick look before focusing on the road.

She did her best to dodge the cars that were already on the road. Life wasn't a James Bond movie. Movies made it seem so easy when people were shown swerving around cars that were in front of them. Uri struggled to do that.

Every time she swerved in front of a car to dodge another, she was terrified she would accidentally hit another car or tip their own car off the bridge. She wasn't immortal, so it would make sense to why she was terrified.

She was human, but definitely faced things most people haven't before. A normal person who worked in an office would have likely died already if they drove at the speed Uri was driving at.

They would freeze up or just completely shut down, but Uri knew better than that. She faced things no one should ever face in their lifetime.

"Taehyung, do me a favor and look around. Do you see any black cars following us?"

Taehyung took in a shaky breath and tried to refocus his eyes before he started looking around. "Y-Yeah, there's one on m-my side and another b-behind us."

"I overestimated our time and underestimated them too much," she told him. "Can you... Taehyung, can you reach up my thigh? There's a gun there."

"Reach up your th-thigh? Like, how far up?" he questioned, staring at her.

Uri responded by spreading her legs apart, her dress straightening up as she did so. "It's on my right thigh. It's—uh—pretty high up."

Taehyung gulped. He could feel the saliva in his mouth thickening. He leaned toward her and reached his hand up her thigh, slowly trailing up. He was afraid that he would touch something he shouldn't touch. He felt the cool touch of metal on his fingers and gripped what he thought was the handle of a gun. He pulled it out of the holster she had and showed her the gun.

"Thanks. Do you know how to use a gun?"

Taehyung shook his head.

"Well, I guess that was for nothing. Okay, take off your seatbelt and take the wheel. Don't slow down, Taehyung, unless I tell you to. Understand?"

He nodded, taking off his seatbelt. Uri did the same and she looked him in the eyes. The two switched seats and Taehyung's heartbeat shot up as the car suddenly swerved.

He eagerly grabbed the wheel and switched seats with Uri. Following her request, he didn't slow down and kept the same speed she was originally at. The black cars continued to follow them.

Uri rolled down the window and cocked her gun. She aimed it at the car next to theirs, except there was another car between them. Uri did her best to aim it at the black car. She pressed the trigger and the bullet fired out, hitting the driver's door.

"I can't do it without hitting the car next to us," she said.

Uri decided to roll down the window on the top and shimmied her way up. She aimed her handgun at the car behind them but was too slow.

They shot at her first, but she was lucky enough to dodge. She shot after their shot and succeeded, killing the man in the passenger seat. The man driving shot at her with one hand, as his other was on the wheel. Uri shot at him twice, both times breaking through the window. The car swerved to the side and crashed into other cars.

"Slow down, Taehyung. We need to lose the civilian car that's between us," Uri told him.

Taehyung gladly slowed down. The black car did the same. Uri checked how many bullets she had left. She had 17 bullets left.

She knew she should keep as many bullets as possible, but it felt good when she fired her gun four times at the car. The car did the same as the other car and swerved off, but instead of crashing into other cars, it swerved off the bridge.

Uri sighed and got back into her seat, placing the gun on her lap and her hand on her chest where her beating heart lived.

"We need to go the airport," Taehyung told her. "My father owns a jet there. They'll let me in."

Uri looked at him breathlessly and nodded. "Let's go."
