~How the hell did we end up like this~

Kellin's P.O.V

I fell asleep in Vic's arms, tomorrow we would go and pick up my little sister, soon to be our baby. I'd forgotten about my stepfather, I should call him and let him know of the situation. I got up, quietly sliding out of Vic's arms. I reached for the phone and dialled Josh's number. He answered.

Josh- hello?
Kellin- hello, it's uh Kellin
Josh- oh hi
Kellin- I have news for you..
Josh- yes? Hurry up I'm busy
Kellin- well my mum gave birth, little girl but mum didn't survive. Do you want to look after the baby, because if not me and Vic will.
Josh- I only wanted your mother, that child could die for all I care. I want nothing to do with it. It killed her the monster.
Kellin- she's not a monster! You are, vile man. Do not come near us ever again.

I hung up. What a pathetic man. If you're enough of a man to bring a child into the world then be enough of a man to raise it. She'll be my little girl from now on, Vic's too. I looked at the time, 10am. I got into the shower, got dressed and made myself look good enough. I let Vic have a lie in while I searched for 2 bedroom houses nearby. I checked my bank account...holy shit. $850,000. And then there would be money off my mum. I found one I loved, two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. A big kitchen, living room, dining room and an indoor pool. Great.

Vic woke up around 11, I showed him the house and he loved it so I gave him my card so he could get the cash and go get the house while I dealed with the baby. Luckily the house owner had already moved out so we could move in whenever. All new furniture too.

He drove off ready to sort it out, I drove to the hospital, went straight to the maternity ward. I told them my details and they sent me straight to the room with all the babies, I was told ours was in crib number 13. I could see 10....11....12...there she was. She was sleeping. I was allowed to take her straight away. I picked her up. She didn't wake at all. There was a baby shop across the road, I need to get a car seat.

I carried her in my arms to the shop, looking through all the outfits and car seats and cribs. I could hear one of my favourite bands playing on the radio. Copeland. That was a sweet name. I'll go over it with Vic. I decided on a black car seat with purple along the sides of it.

It was one of those seats that also acted as a carrier, I rested the precious baby into the seat and carried her out of the shop back towards my car. It took me awhile but I figured out how to fit it in. I drove back towards our old home for now, packing up a few of my belongings. I got a text from Vic.

To: Kellin:*

House sorted, all bought. We can stay in our house for another week but that's it. See you in 5 x

I smiled, finally, we were starting a family. A bit sooner than I thought but we were doing it. I put our house up for sale and went on the internet and bought so much furniture. I then got a phonecall from the hospital.

Nurse- hello...uh mr.bostwick?
Kellin- Quinn, hello?
Nurse- sorry mr.quinn, I'm calling about your mother?
Kellin- oh uh yeah
Nurse- she is currently in waiting for a funeral if you plan on having one,?
Kellin- well really I'd like her to be cremated, then only my fiancé, sister and I to be there? Is that possible?
Nurse- of course mr quinn, I'll have that arranged and ill phone you within this week. Thankyou goodbye.

She hung up. I heard a car pull into the driveway, that would be Vic:)
