"Lily!"
A voice rose from behind Lily. As she glanced over her shoulder she spotted Crystal walking towards her. Lily let out a sigh, what was it now? Lily shoved a few more cans on the shelf before she stood up to ask Crystal what she needed. "Can I help you?" Lily said as Crystal approached.
"I need you to do me a favor." Crystal requested.
"Why would I do that?" Lily laughed slightly.
"You owe me one, remember?"
Lily stood there thinking of where she could of come into Crystal's debt. Lily let out a sigh as realization dawned on her.
"It's been almost a year since then, you waited too long to redeem your favor." Lily tried.
"Debts don't expire."
Lily rolled her eyes, in this case they did. It was better for Lily just to accept her fate rather than fighting Crystal the whole time. "What is it? I'll only help you if it fits into my schedule."
"I'm helping one of my friends with an article for a site," Crystal started. "So basically I need to go to the airport and get some pictures, but I don't want to pay for a taxi. So, you're driving."
"When?" Lily asked. The task seemed simple enough, the airport was only about thirty minutes away from where they worked. Crystal didn't say anything about driving her back either.
"After our shift is over. I know you have a half day today, so don't try to pretend."
"I wasn't going to," Lily confessed. Lily let out an annoyed sigh but nodded. "I don't really have a choice anyways... at least I won't owe you anymore though."
The last few months of Lily and Crystal working together had been.... tolerable. They didn't get into fights as much as when Crystal first started, but they still got easily annoyed by each other.
"Good, Oh! You can buy me lunch on the way too." Crystal turned on her heel and walked away leaving Lily standing there thinking about what just happened.
"I'm not buying you any lunch..." Lily mumbled behind Crystal's back.
Lily thought about making a stop on the way to Wendy's before the airport and make a show of not ordering Crystal anything. She decided against it, even if there was lunch in the picture, the two would most likely argue about where to go.
Lily considered this to be a bad day before her fun weekend started. After all, this was the weekend BTS was coming to town. She couldn't wait. She had work on the weekend but used her vacation time just for this. She would have some fun days then one or two recovery days. Lily imagined she would be in a slump afterwards.
During her lunch breaks that week, she had been reading blogs about people going to BTS concerts. The majority of people seemed to of lost their marbles over it. Plus, Lily would to get to go to a fanmeet, there wasn't anyway she would be able to go straight back to work after an exciting weekend.
Lily turned back to her box of cans, time to start shelving again.
---------
Lily waited by the exit for Crystal. Crystal insisted on having her change out of her work clothes. Lily thought she didn't need to, people always wear weird stuff to the airport, what's the problem with work clothes?
Crystal came out of the locker room, she was carrying a camera case and something else. She exited the building without saying a word to Lily. Lily twirled her keys around her finger and followed her. "How long is it going to take?" Lily asked. Crystal was leading the way but Lily was sure she didn't know where her car was.
