The plane had just landed about an hour ago, but they couldn't leave the airport until now. Hoseok adjusted his baseball cap and followed the security guards who would walk him through the airport crowds. If the crowds weren't pushing and shoving, he planned to stop and wave at the fans. He wanted to show them appreciation for coming all this way to greet him and the others.
Screams and cheers drowned out the music he was playing through his headphones, Hoseok was happy to see no one crowding. It meant he could wave and smile at them. He started looking around the crowd, and for a moment he wondered if Lily could be there. He probably couldn't pick her out of the crowd though.
He looked in a random direction, he couldn't really see any faces due to all the camera flashes but he smiled and waved nontheless then continued to walk out of the airport. He hurriedly climbed into the black van that was waiting for them. The fanmeet and concert would be happening over the weekend, so today he had time to relax. But honestly would there really be any relaxing if he was nervous about meeting Lily?
He wondered if she would really be going or if she had a family emergency and wouldn't be able to go. Maybe she wouldn't even tell him who she was. He began tapping his foot nervously thinking about it. After getting this far he was worried about Lily not showing up, that would be really unfortunate if that were the case.
There wasn't anyway he could contact her either-- well, there was one way actually. He most likely didn't have time to stop at her house though. It would be kind of creepy anyway, he didn't want to seem like a creep to Lily, or really to anyone but especially to Lily. Hoseok pulled his hat off his head and ran his fingers through his hair.
"What should we eat for dinner?" Jin asked, scrolling through his phone.
"Noodles, noodles!" Jungkook said excitedly, peering over the seat to see what Jin was looking at. "Is there a noodle restaurant near here?"
"We had noodles yesterday," Taehyung complained, "We should eat hamburgers."
Hoseok let out a sigh, every day now Jungkook and Taehyung would want something different. It was either noodles, hamburgers, pizza or Korean BBQ. He just wanted something different at this point, but he wasn't going to bother jumping in, he knew one of the others would suggest something else too.
"We don't have to all go to the same place," Namjoon said, "We can split up or we can just eat at the hotel."
"There's no dinner service at the hotel" one of BTS' mangers said from the driver's seat
"Oh, really? Forget what I said about eating at the hotel, sorry" Namjoon laughed at himself quietly.
"We don't have to figure it out right away," Jimin chimed in. "We still have time to decide, we should go to the hotel for a little bit and relax for now."
"We can't check into the hotel until three." the same manger said again.
"Then what we eat wouldn't really need to be dinner," Yoongi said. "Although, we could wonder around town a bit and have an early dinner."
"We could go eat hamburgers right now, and then if we're hungry later find a noodle place." Jimin said.
Everyone seemed to agree, this is what Hoseok got for being a silent party. Maybe next time he'd speak up. Jin selected a random burger place and handed his phone to the driver so they could have directions.
Hoseok let out a yawn. What he wanted most was a nap, or just something to make him less anxious about meeting Lily. He got in a lot of trouble for inviting her but there wasn't anything that could be done about it once he sent her the tickets. No one told the company about it, but one of the other members would always look at the letters Lily sent before handing it off to Hoseok. He didn't really appreciate that, but to an extent he understood.
