(A/N: Sorry for taking awhile to update~ just a little bit of writer's block happening and working on some other projects. I'll try to make this worth the wait. Just a warning to those who may get confused : there's a few time skips. )

Hoseok finished writing his letter, he read it to make sure there wasn't any mistakes.

2017 December 25
Dear Lily,

By the time you get this the holidays will be over, but I hope you had a great time with family and friends. I spent the holidays resting. Sleep is one of the best things in the world, after ARMY of course. ARMY is the best thing, I'm glad you're apart of it. I told the boys to eat well and get more rest for you, however, I didn't really mention it was you who said that. XD

I decided to give you a Christmas present. Don't tell anyone about it, shhh. I trust you. We're having a concert near you, so I thought I would give you a ticket. I also gave you a fan meet ticket, perhaps I'll finally get to see your face. It's been a few years, I bet you have lots of pictures of me, so it's only fair. XD

From,
Sunshine Hobi

He couldn't send the letter until later. He needed to make sure everything was set in stone before doing anything else. He would also have to snag some tickets for Lily. He folded the letter and slid it into an envelope. Hoseok then put the letter into his nightstand drawer. He could probably send it in a couple days, until then he would just have to wait.

Waiting was the worst part about the letters.

-----

A few days passed, Hoseok could finally place several stamps on the envelope. He sat on his bed, he tried to arrange them to be perfectly lined up and straight. Though, things turned out more wonky than he had hoped. It gave the letter a messy and disorderly appearance, he considered starting the envelope over again, but he realized he didn't have any more stamps.

He wasn't too confident in how the letter would hold up traveling an ocean away, so he took some tape and started wrapping up the envelope. When he finished, he was disappointed at how messy it left his letter, he hoped Lily wouldn't mind.

At least it probably won't get damaged with water incase it ever did now, Hoseok thought on the bright side.

Hoseok picked up the letter and headed out of his room. He would have to go to the bottom floor of the apartment to send out his mail. He sighed slightly at the thought, not wanting to leave the apartment. Nonetheless, Hoseok made his way to the front door and slipped his shoes on.

"Where are you going?" A voice sounded from behind him.

Hoseok froze on the spot at the sound of the persons voice behind him, his left foot in mid-air hovering slightly above his shoe. He glanced over his shoulder and saw Seokjin was sipping tea behind him.

"I was going to walk Yeontan for Taehyung," Hoseok said.

"Then where's the dog?"

"He seemed to have run off ahead."

At that moment Taehyung walked past Hoseok and Seokjin with Yeontan in his arms. He was feeding the small dog a treat as he walked by. Taehyung soon disappeared down a hallway towards his own room.

"It seems he had finished the walk without me," Hoseok said as he watched Seokjin watch Taehyung disappear.

"That's unfortunate. What's the letter for then?"
