Chapter one

Amelia's POV:

I woke up around 10:00, the usual time I get up during summer, I got a shower, put on my makeup and went through my normal morning routine. It was a beautiful day out, but then it hit me.. It was the last day of summer. The last day of summer always sucks, I mean who wants to go back to that hell hole we call school? No one. I heard my phone buzzing, and I ran in my room to grab it. It popped up as "Matt😊👌" I smiled and answered it.
"Hello?" I said
"Amelia! What are you doing today?" Matt says
"Oh nothinnn, why do you wanna hang?"
"Ya that's actually why I called. Meet me at the park say.. Oh I don't know, 1:00?"
"Ya that's perfect! See you at 1!" I say hanging up.
I love hanging out with Matt, he's the sweetest person I know, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better best friend. Matt and I have known each other since as long as I can remember and it's never a dull moment with him. I have to admit it, Matt is VERY attractive. But would I ever date him? The answer is no. I wouldn't want our friendship destroyed, because everyone knows after you brake up with someone that it is the most awkward thing EVER. And besides I really couldn't afford to loose Matt, neither of us have that many friends. Well Matt has his Magcon friends, but it's not like they live near each other.

At 12:00 I got changed into a cute summery skirt with a white crop top and vans. At 12:30 I got in my car and drove to the park. When I arrived at the park I see Matt and he runs over and gives me a hug. He was wearing khaki shorts with a blue muscle top and vans.
"Amelia! I feel like I haven't see you in months!"
"It's only been a week Matt! But your right it seems like forever." Matt giggled and changed the subject.
"Are you excited for school tomorrow" Matt says sarcastically.
"You know it." I say in an even more sarcastic tone.
We were at the park until about 4:00 just talking about all the gossip and all the new relationships that people got into over summer, and how Magcon was and how Matt met Nash and Taylor and everyone else.
I gave Matt a hug goodbye.
"See you tomorrow in hell!" I said with a wink.

*The next day*

I woke up to the sound of an alarm. I got up out of bed, got dressed, went through my morning routine and drove to school.
When I arrived at school, trying to find my locker, I looked to see an angry Matt struggling to get his locker open. I walked over to him laughing.
"Need some help?"
"Yes, I have been standing here forever trying to get this stupid thing to open."
I looked at my paper that had my locker number and it's combination on it.
"Here Matt let me see your paper." I said as he gave me his paper.
"Matt! Your at the wrong locker!" I said laughing.
"This is my locker, your locker is this one!" I said pointing to the locker right next to mine.
"Oh my god. I'm a mess." He said with a laugh in his voice.
"It's the first day, everyone's a mess." I said with a smile. I was pretty pumped that me and Matt were locker buddies. Last year we had one class together, and our lockers were no where near each other. That sucked. Matt looked at my schedule, and I looked at his. We both looked up with smiles on our faces. We had A LOT of classes together!!!!

Matts POV:

When I saw Amelias schedule I was so exited. She is honestly the only person I trust. We have been best friends since forever and I don't know what I would do without her. Amelia and I walked to homeroom together. We got to pick our seats, so obviously we sat by each other. Amelia is the most beautiful girl in the school, in my opinion anyway, Amelia doesn't know that I think that. And i want to tell her but I don't want to make things awkward between us. I don't want to loose her, and I would honestly love to date her. I've always had a huge crush on her.
