Chapter Twenty Four

Amelia's POV:

Matt told me that he is running out today. He didn't tell me where he was going, he just said he was running out. So it looks like it's just Shawn and i.

I was sitting on the couch as i kept thinking about Matt and i. I'm honestly not sure how much longer our relationship is going to last. I love Matt, but we obviously can't get along.

I wonder if Matt was telling the truth about Melissa. I mean for all i know, he could be with her right now. I decided to call him.

He didn't answer, of course.

I then went back to thinking about our relationship. I miss our old relationship. I miss the way Matt used to look at me. I miss the way Matt used to hold me in his arms. I miss the way Matt used to comfort me when i was upset. But most of all i miss the way Matt and I used to be with each other.

Just then Shawn came and sat down on the couch next to me.

"Amelia, is something bothering you?" Shawn asked.

"Oh um no. I'm fine." I lied.

"I know you're not fine. Tell me what's on your mind."

"Its just Matt." I said looking at the ground.

"Did something happen last night? I heard you guys screaming at each other."

"Yeah we got into another fight."

"All we do is fight, anymore." I added.

"You guys seem like the perfect couple."

I laughed at Shawn's remark.

"Maybe we used to be the perfect couple, but now we're the complete opposite."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"I just wish it was still like how it used to be. We both loved each other and would do anything for each other but now, we can't go a day without fighting." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Don't cry." Shawn said whipping away my tears.

"You guys can fix things." He said smiling.

"You really thinks so?" I asked.

"No, i don't think so. I know so."

I smiled as i then gave him a hug.

"Thank you Shawn." I said still hugging him.

"Your welcome." He said as he then kissed my forehead.

For the rest of the day Shawn and i just say around and talked. It was really great catching up with Shawn. I've forgotten how much of a great guy he is.

I don't know where Matt is but i don't mind being with just Shawn.

Matts POV:

So i didn't tell Amelia where i was going today, only because i was meeting up with Melissa. Now I'm only meeting up with her to tell her to leave me alone.

I honestly haven't done anything with her but she acts like we're a couple and i don't want Amelia to get the wrong idea.

I arrived at her house as i then knocked on our her door. Little did i know, she was throwing a party.

"Matty!" She said opening the door.

"Come in!" She added.

I walked into her house and people were all over. It was a pretty big party with loud music and alcohol.

"Melissa, i need to talk to-" she cut me off by saying

"Do you want a drink?"

I really don't want to stay here.

"Um no i actually didn't come here for the party."

"Here you go!" She said handing me a beer.

"No I'm fine." I said handing the beer back.

"Come on Matt! Have some fun!"

I mean one drink won't hurt.

*A few hours later*

Okay, i had way more than one drink but oh well. I was practically drunk right now. Actually i was drunk. But, then all of a sudden i remembered why i was here. I am here to tell Melissa that she needs to stop calling me. I then went to go find her.

"Hey Melissa i need to talk to you." I said slurring my words.

"Hold on, come with me." She said taking me upstairs.

She pushed me into a bedroom and immediately started making out with me.

"What are you doing?" I said pushing her off of me.

"I know you want me." She whispered in my ear.

I don't remember anything after that. But the next thing i knew i was on top of her naked.

Amelia's POV:

It's pretty late and Matt still isn't home yet. I tried calling him but he didn't answer, of course. Oh well, i guess i shouldn't be worried.

Shawn and i were still up, we just kept talking and weren't doing too much of anything.

"Hey Amelia?"

"Yeah Shawn?"

"I've been wanting to tell you something for awhile now."

"Well, what is it?"

"I'm in love with you."

I'm not sure if you guys remember or not but a few chapters ago i said that this story will be coming to an end soon but turns out that it won't.
