Chapter Fifty Three

Amelia's POV:

"I love you, Shawn. Forever and always."

I then began walking out of the room but then a long beep caught my attention. I turned around to see that Shawn's heart monitor stopped.

I sprinted over to his bed and began crying.

"Shawn no! Please don't go!" I cried.

I didn't know what to do so I went to find a doctor.

I ran out of the room and found the nearest doctor I could find.

"H-help please! My boyfriends heart monitor stopped!" I said.

They immediately rushed to the room as i followed behind them.

Nurses and doctors began surrounding Shawn's bed very quickly.

They grabbed those shock things off of the wall, rubbed them together and then presses them up against his chest causing his body to flinch.

"Why is she in here? Someone get her out of here!" One doctor shouted pointing towards me.

A nurse in purple scrubs then approached me.

"Please come with me." She said.

I followed her as she took me to the waiting room with everyone else.

"W-what is happening to him?" i asked.

"Well I am not quite sure. But, as you probably know, when a heart monitor stops it means that the person can no longer breath and that their heart has completely stopped beating. One of two things will happen, he will either pass away or the shock that we send through his body can give his heart that little boost it needs and it can save his life."

I was speechless. This could mean Shawn is dead. He could've died right in front of my eyes.

I then saw the doctor that kicked me out of the room come rushing over to us.

"Come quick or else he won't make it." He said grabbing the nurse that walked me out.

Oh my god.

Shawn's POV:

The way I see it, I'm dead. But I don't feel pain, i don't feel anything. I see the sending shocks to my body as my body bounces up into the air.

As I was watching my body being thrown into the air, I saw a bright light. I heard voices and I walked closer towards it.

I then decides to walk through the light. I hope this doesn't take me anywhere that gets me stuck here.

I don't know what happened but in the blink of an eye i felt completely different. I felt pain, I felt confusion, I felt so many things that I can't even begin to describe.

I then open my eyes to see several nurses and doctors crowding around my bed.

"Oh my god, he's alive." The one nurse whispered under her breath.

I was in a lot of pain but I managed to sit up.

I buried my face into my hands as I sat there confused about everything.

"Excuse me but how long have I been here and what happened to me?" I asked the doctor.

He told me that I have been in here for about a week and he also told me that I have been in a coma.

Then I thought of Amelia. I need to see her.
