Chapter Fifty Four

Amelia's POV:

I was sitting in the waiting room next to Shawn's mom and a doctor began approached us.

"I have some news about Shawn." He said.

We both stood up.

"How is he?" She asked.

"He is well. Surprisingly, he woke up and is officially out of his coma."

I began smiling real big as i then started running towards his room.

I got to his door and immediately ran into the room.

I saw him, awake, sitting upwards on his bed.

"Amelia!" He said smiling.

As soon as I saw his perfect smile, my smiler grew even bigger.

I ran over to his bed and I immediately gave him a hug.

"Shawn, I'm so glad you're awake."

Tears of joy started running down my face, onto his shoulder.

We were hugging each other for awhile but then a doctor came into the room. I let go of Shawn and then sat on the edge of his bed, holding onto his hand.

"I have some good news for you, Shawn." He said.

"You're going to be just fine. Now that you are out of your coma, you are breathing properly and everything seems normal. We just want to keep you here to make sure that your health stays balanced. In fact, you can leave in just a few days." He added.

I looked at Shawn and smiled as I saw that he was smiling as well.

"Thank you." He said to the doctor.

The doctor nodded his head and then left the room so that it was now just Shawn and i.

"Come here." He said patting the spot next to him.

He moved over a little and i laid down on the bed, and cuddled up next to him.

He began playing with my hair as he then said

"Thank you."

"For what?" I asked.

"For visiting me everyday and caring so much about me."

"You're welcome. But how did you know that i came here everyday?"

"I saw you."

I shot him a confused look.

"What do you mean you saw me?"

"While I was in my coma, I was able to see and hear everything you said or did. I don't understand how i was able to experience such things, but I did. It was like I was in a whole other world."

I was in shock. I was speechless.

"So, yes." He added.

"Yes what?" I asked confused.

"I will be your boyfriend." He said smiling.

I then returned the smile.

Wow, he really did hear everything I said.

"But, only under one condition." He said.

"What would that be?" i asked still smiling.

"Only if you would be my girlfriend."

I giggled and then pecked his lips.

"So I'm taking that as a yes." He said smirking.

"Yes, it's a yes." I said laughing.

Now I can saw that I'm actually Shawn's girl.
