Chapter 9

Tez POV

As I'm pacing around my trashed room, I was contemplating on how I'm gonna get Kendrick back. "Call me a bitch? You'll see who's the bitch" I said to myself. I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in" I muttered.

Tina and Joy walked in.

"Are you okay? Do you need help cleaning up?" Tina said calmly.

I couldn't help but melt at her words. She made me forget about all my problems. She was so breath taking, even with all her flaws. I completely forgot about everything that was going on. Then, I was snapped back into reality.

"Hello??" Joy said. "Are you there?"

I laughed "Sure yeah" I said.

As we were cleaning, I couldn't keep my eyes off of Tina. I think she caught me staring a few times but she just shook it off. 'She's out of my league anyway.' I thought. We cleaned for about an hour until my room was almost put back all the way. My TV was smashed. The bed was smashed. The pipes in the bathroom were all clogged. My window was smashed. I needed to pay to fix that but as I was thinking about all of this, I came up with a brilliant plan.

"Its messed up pretty bad in here Tez" she said.

"I know I'll figure it out. Let me make some calls" I said not really wanting her to leave.

"Okay, I'll come back later and check on you" she said with a smile and closed my door.

I immediately called Q and he answered on the fourth ring.

"Yo what's up man?" he said

"I got some bad news"

"Give it to me"

"I was looking through your accounts, you know, just making sure that everything was smooth sailing, and I saw some funds being taken out. Did you withdraw today?" I asked innocently.

"Nah I didn't. Man this shit again?" he said upset. "I'm gonna be broke by the time this tour is over."

"I'm gonna look around and see whats going on, but it was taken out by mobile transaction so I cant see where it was taken out from" I said egging him on.

"Well, alright man. Thanks for calling."

"No problem." I said about to hang up.

"Hey! How's that new nanny doing?" he said with concern.

"Oh, Tina? She's doing just fine. Her and Joy are getting along really well" I said honestly.

"Okay good. Hit you later man." he said and then hung up.

Now, I wait. My plan is set in motion. I went downstairs to living area and saw Joy and TIna laying out by the pool in bathing suits. I couldn't go out there. That's too much of Tina for me to be looking at all at once.

"Hey Tez! Come out here!" she yelled.

"Uhh.. um I can't! I have to.. uhh.. handle some business" I stuttered.

"No you don't! Come on or I'll come and drag you out here personally!" she said laughing

"Yeah! I'll come too!" Joy followed up

"Fine! Gimme a sec!" I yelled back. I needed to compose myself. I would've said no again just to have her come and touch me, but that woudn't have ended well.

I walked out to the pool and sat on the furthest chair. Tina sat up and looked at me. 'Why did I even come down here?' I thought. She got up out of the chair and stood directly in front of me, 'Why?' I thought to myself. She jumped into the pool and got water all over me. Then, pushed herself up out of the water and laughed. 'WHY?' I thought.

She high fived Joy and they went back in the house. I followed right behind them staring at Tina and then walked up the stairs and went right back in my room.

"Enough of that" I said to myself.

Q's POV

"Ay Kendrick!" I yelled from my room. He came in.

"Whats good man?"

"Nothing right now. What the fuck is this I'm hearing about money missing from my account again?" I said getting straight to the point.

"Man look, I got my own money so I don't need yours. I think you need to be looking somewhere else. We're brothers, I wouldn't do something like that to you" he said. I couldn't be mad at him but I was skeptical.

"Alright. Just don't let me find out it's you" I said sternly

"It's not so you won't" he said calmly and then walked out.

I pinched the bridge of my nose, took my hat off, and exhaled deeply. "What the hell am I gonna do?" I said to myself. My baby's birthday is coming up and I wanna surprise her. I bought the ticket back home and all. I'll stay for three days. Hopefully she'll like that. I also hope this nanny is treating her right. I don't want her to be like Jenny or those other nannies; and that call I just got from Tez is bothering me, big time. Who's out there stealing my identity and taking my hard earned money? When I find out who it is, I don't know what I'll do. All I know is, they'll be sorry they ever fucked with me.
