Chapter 11

Q's POV

"Are you finding everything okay Mr.Hanley?" the attendant said smiling.

"Yeah, lemme get something to eat though." I said lazily

"I'll be right back with your food sir." she said leaving.

I was so excited to get home and see my baby. I just needed to make sure that she was there when I got there. I heard the attendant over the speakers. "We are at an altitude of thirty thousand feet. You can use your electronics now and unfasten your seatbelts. Thank you for using Northwest Airlines."

I unbuckled my seatbealt and took my tablet out. I decided to Skype Tez. He answered after a while.

"Hey what's up man, where are you?" he asked

"I'm on a plane back home."

"Uh.. why?" he asked with an odd look.

"Joy's birthday, I'm tryna surprise her. Whats that nannies name? I need her number so I can talk to her about this." I said scratching my beard and adjusting my hat.

"Her name is Tina. Here's her number" he said giving me her number.

"Okay, I'll call her once I get off. What are you doing?" I asked suspiciously.

"Nothing, I'm just handling some business. I'll hit you later" he said quickly.

"Alright man. Keep an eye on Joy."

"Alright."

He hung up. 'I can't wait to see my baby' I thought, as I was saving Tina's number in my phone. I hope she isn't like the rest of those nannies because Tez really has a way of choosing them and I don't want Joy to be hurt again.

"Here's your food Mr. Hanley" she said flashing a huge smile.

"Thanks" I said dismissively. She lingered a bit too long but eventually left.

4 hours later

"Passengers, please fasten your seatbelts. We are now landing in California. Thank you for choosing Northwest Airlines."

The attendants voice over the speakers woke me up. We landed and I exited the plane to meet Murray with my name card.

"What's up man" I said to Murray giving him dap.

"Nothing. Am I taking you to the house?"

"Yeah but just pick up Tina and make sure Joy is being watched while I'm with her"

"Alright"

I got in the car and called Tina. She didn't answered so I texted her.

Q: pick up the phone please

T: okay?

I called again and she picked up the phone.

"Hey is this Tina?"

"Yeah. Who is this?" she asked calmly

"A friend of Tez. Be ready in 10 minutes. Murray will be outside to pick you up."

"Okay" she said calmly and hung up.

I called Tez immediately after.

"Yo"

"Where are you?" I asked

"I'm at the crib with Joy and Tina" he said very nonchalant

"Okay, stay with Joy, I'm coming to pick Tina up. Don't mention it to her or Joy." I said seriously

"Alright man" he said and hung up.

We pulled up to the house and Tina was waiting outside. She was gorgeous. I had never seen a girl that looked like her. She waved to Murray and got in the car. She sat down, buckled her seatbelt and looked at me. I was expecting her to freak out but she didn't. She was very calm.

"Hi, my name is Kristina" she said smiling and stuck her hand out.

"I'm Quincey" I said taking her hand and kissing it.

We went to a small coffee shop down the street from my house. Once we got out of the car I opened the door and caught a glimpse of her back side. 'Wow' I thought. I sat down with her when we got inside and then she spoke.

"What are you doing back in town?" she asked laughing a bit.

Smiling, I said "I'm here for Joy's birthday."

She laughed again.

"What you laughing at?" I said flashing a huge smile.

"Well, just yesterday Joy told me how she wanted her daddy for her birthday. I was gonna surprise her with a huge party or something like that but here you are" she said smiling.

"Well here I am indeed." I said "How much money do you have left from the ten thousand?" I asked expecting to have to dish out another ten stacks.

"Eight thousand and some change" she said.

I was shocked, most of the time that money was gone within the first few days. I gave her an extra five thousand. I told her to use it for whatever Joy wanted for her birthday and that I will be there at 12 tomorrow. She agreed and we got back in the car. She told me a little about herself. I felt like she was different from the other nannies.

"Hey make sure you take care of Joy" I said as she was leaving grabbing her hand.

"I will treat her as if she was my own." she said flashing her beautiful smile.

"See you later then"

"Okay" she said laughing and softly pulling her hand away.

I watched her walk away. I couldn't wait to see Joy tomorrow, I couldn't wait to see her ass tomorrow and I'm glad she's treating my baby right. I think she's gonna be around for a long time.
