When I woke up I felt something hard under my head. I opened my eyes and lifted my head to see that it was Ashton. The T.V. is on and he has the remote in his hand.

"Good morning gorgeous." Ashton says. I turn to face him and smile.

"Morning." I say. I then turn back towards the T.V. and lay my head back down on his chest. "You're really comfortable you know that?" I say jokingly.

"I can see that. This is the second time I've woken up with your head on my chest." Ashton says. I smile and blush at the comment. Thankfully he can't see it this time, otherwise he'd be adding to his little blush counter he's got going on.

"Hey, do you know if my grandma is home?" I ask him.

"No. I haven't heard anything, but that doesn't mean they didn't come in while we were sleeping." Ashton says. I sit up and stretch before completely standing up to go see if my grandma is home.

"I'll be right back." I say to Ashton as I walk away towards the stairs.

"I'll be right here." Ashton calls after me. I smile realizing the double meaning to his words. He was partly joking, yet partly letting me know that he's not going to walk out on me. After what I told him yesterday, it would completely ruin everything between us if he walked out. Not that there's much between us to ruin.

I make it up the stairs and walk over towards my grandmas room. The door is open and the bed is empty. I check the other rooms just in case, but there is no one. I walk back down the stairs and past the living room into the kitchen.

"Are they home?" Ashton says.

"No. Do you want breakfast?"

"Sure. What are you making?"

"Pancakes."

"Can I help?"

"Sure." I get out the pancake batter and a pan. Then I mix the pancake batter together and start pouring it on the pan once it's heated up.

"Where's the flour?" Ashton questions.

"You don't need flour to make pancakes weirdo." I say to him.

"I know." Ashton says. I look over towards him and just as I do a cloud of flour is thrown into my face. I gasp in shock. I turn off the stove, so there's no fire, and I slowly turn around so I'm facing him.

"You are so getting it." I say to him.

"Why? I kinda like it. Ghost white is a good look for you." Ashton says smirking.

"I'm giving you a ten second head start to get away before I hurt you." I say as sternly as possible. With that Ashton takes off running and bounds up the stairs. I run to the fridge and grab the one thing that I know will set him off. Watermelon. I grab the watermelon and run out into the backyard and stand right next to the pool. "Hey Ashton! You might want to come out here and see this!" I yell hoping he'll hear.

"NO! THERE'S NO WAY I'M FALLING FOR THAT!" I hear him yell.

"Ok! Then I guess I'm just going to have to drop this delicious fruit right into the pool! Hey maybe you can guess what fruit it is! I know you like it!" I say. Surely he understands by now.

"YOU WOULDN'T!" I hear him yell as there's pounding from inside the house. I almost worry that he fell down the stairs, but my worries go to rest when he bursts through the back door out into the back yard. "Sammy. Sammy just calmly back away from the pool. It'll be ok. We can get you cleaned up. There's no need to drop precious fruit into the pool."

"I don't know Ash. I think you deserve this."

"No. No. I'll make you a deal. You back away from the pool with the watermelon and I'll let you play on my drum kit."
