Marriage or hell?

Chapter 3

Sun shone bright practically smilingly down. People were begin to file in some taking their sits others going into the garden while some ran halter-skelter doing some last minutes checks to be sure everything was perfect.
    It was a perfect day for a wedding, the sun shining brightly cool breeze soothing against the heat from the sun. The theme blending perfectly with the decorations, waiters moving around making sure everyone was having a good time.
    ' They should be here any minute from now'
    Abdul said nervously fixing his tie.
  ''Calm down there here already" Leocadio assured his friend who had been practically sweating.
    ''Ain't they just made for each other"
   Someone close to him remarked softly.
    ''Yes they are'' he replied gliding his friend a glance before turning to the voice with a smile.
    " You look stunning mi querido" he commented the last part a whisper.
   "You look handsome mash-Allah'' Adriana murmured pink colour dusting her cheeks.
    Watching her cheeks redden was quite amusing Leo didn't know women still blushed, taking her hand he lead her to their sit. Everyone followed allowing the newly weds their first dance.
   
    The music was a cool Arabian song about a man singing to his wife promising to love and cherish her till eternity promising that even death wouldn't do them part because they shall meet in the next life. It made tears swell in Adriana's eyes at the beauty of two people who love each other through Allah.
  After their first dance the couples got seated on their sit while everyone went one after the other to give them gifts and pray for the newlyweds.
   Begin Abdul's best friend Leocadio and his wife were the first to present their gift and call for Allah's blessing on their marriage.
 
    "Dad what did you do to make mom such a crying mess" Fernando said to his dad accusingly.
   "Absolutely nothing son only that I brought her with me to a wedding,I think it's a woman thing to cry at weddings" he replied laughing at his son horrified expression.
  "  Is that why my cousins are all weeping?" he muttered. " Am never taking any girl to a wedding" he whispered quietly oblivious to the fact that his parent heard him, still horrified at the prospect of a girl crying for a wedding he mumbled an excuse and left.
  ''You shouldn't have said that to the poor boy" Adriana scowled
Feeling pity for Fernan. She turned to her husband who lead her to two beautiful women both had some sort of resemblance to Leocadio and they seamed familiar.

" Leocadio how are you?" they asked each giving him a hug.

  Adriana watched the exchange feeling her chest tighten,she wondered who they were and why he never hugged her like that after all they were married.
He didn't want a wife that's why, she muttered under her breath.

"Adriana these are my sisters, Fatima and Hanifa"

"Fatima, Hanifa this is my wife" he introduced them a small smile gracing his lips when his sisters showed their approval.

" we have a lot of catching up to do Leo has hidden you long enough tomorrow we go shopping and have lunch do a little catching up" Fatima said leaving no room for refusal.

" oh and we're head for your house after the wedding bro" Hanifa added

" No non of you are invited" Leo said smiling.

  " we might stay over oh and aunts packed up and is headed towards your house since you refuse to go visit " she replied ignoring his comment.

" Oh dear why I was there a month ago, are you serious"

" you'll see for yourself when you get home, see ya later bro" they waved smiling at their brothers day.

" Leocadio been a long time since we've meet on neutral grounds': he said a devious smile on his lips his gaze fell on Adriana,' and who is this lovely lady you have here Leocadio"

  His smile dropped into a scowl once his gaze meet his step brother Lucifer's challenging ones, he wrapped his arm around his wife pulling her to his side showing his claim on her.

Adriana didn't like the way one blonde man with light blue eyes and a cunning smile on his wide mouth, she watched as he head towards them. He spoke to Leo apparently he's Leo's step brother, how can a parent name their child Lucifer such a horrible name.
He turned his attention to her it was clear Leo didn't like him and she didn't like the way he was eying her as though he could see through her clothing.

  Uncomfortable under his seething gaze she moved closer to Leo as if sensing her discomfort he pulled her closer locking her in his embrace.

" My wife Adriana" he replied coldly
  " Ahh what a pleasure it is" Lucifer said gaze never leaving Adriana he reached for her hand but she recoiled away from him moving closer to her husband.

   " Goodbye Lucifer" Leocadio said firmly dismissing him.

  Leo stared her away from Lucifer leading her towards his best friend who was standing with his wife surrounded by people ready to bade them good bye as they left for their honey moon.

Adriana watched the happy couple as their ride left, smile on there faces it was clear as day they loved each other and were happy, seeing them made her heart tighten wishing she had that sort of relationship with her husband.

   She waved to his sisters their husbands and kids who were heading for their house as promised, she turned to look at Fernan who was humming some sort of tone.

She looked at her husband dressed in a dark blue three piece tuxedo his tie matching her green gown, hair combed back neatly now looked tousled after running his hands through them.

   She couldn't help but stare at him, he looked breathtaking as always and each time she looked at him she feels her breath hitch. He was so handsome masha Allah she kept stealing glances at him, hoping he wouldn't catch her staring.

  Adriana turned to steal another glance and met him staring at her, for the first time ever she looked in his eyes and saw his eyes darken .

   The way he looked at her had her blushing red, quickly she dropped her gaze looking  away.

  Leocadio sighed turning his attention back to the road he couldn't help but steal another glance at his wife, she looked beautiful her cheeks red her plump lips in a pout, had his heart beating fast.

  He pulled into the garage, quickly going round the car to open the door for hi wife, she kept her gaze down avoiding his eyes cheeks still blushing red.

  Leo let out a chuckle running his hands through his hair watched as Fernan and his family went into the house leaving them some privacy, apparently Adriana noticed that too.
  
  Adriana looked beautiful under the moon light giving her a sort of glow she turned to her husband who had been staring at her, he ran his gaze down her body,bring it to rest on her lips.

   Slowly he began to lean towards her, Adriana felt rooted to the spot eyes wide lips parted cheeks flushed watching, waiting to see if he really would kiss her their first kiss.
