Opening my eyes, I yawned, loudly. Mid-yawn I paused. I wasn't at home, I wasn't in my bed. I was sitting in a room with walls made of wood, there was a small window which showcased the setting sun. The setting sun? This time, without a sound. I stood up. I was in the same clothes I wore last night - I think. I checked my digital watch
-21st November- it read, I recall that I went to bed on the 20th. Strange.
"Juliette, please, just trust me!" A voice pleaded "Jet, you can't be serious, anyone with half a brain would know that a newly doesn't wake up after only one day! Usually it takes about a week for the best students"
Students? I wondered.
"Look, there's something about these four, they're special, real special" the voice named Jet insisted. "and you know I don't approve of using the stuff - I like to introduce my newly's to the far-side without them being unconscious"
I scanned the room for a door, I wanted to run out of this place, and one question which need to be answered, who the hell were Jet and Juliette? I ran to the other side of the room and running my fingers along the bricks that were incased in the wooden planks, I found a handle. "Damn!" I whispered the door was locked, luckily, my older brother showed me how to pick a lock with a paper clip, and I figured I could adapt that method to the Bobby pin in my hair. The door wasn't too big but I could just about squeeze through it.
As soon as I stepped foot out side of the room, I felt free. Like a bird flying out of a cage. The surrounding area was grassy and a tall imposing building stood its ground, looming over me.
I put names to faces as Jet and Juliette stared at me awestruck, eyes wide, jaw dropped.
"You'd better get 'n there, or-" Juliette cut Jet off by saying "or there will be consequences - y-you weren't meant to have gotten out so fast and Jet and I are going to have to find out how to explain this to - to-" she stopped talking
"Go back in, we'll sort this out - we'll come back for you, so don't worry"
"Just keep quiet sweetheart" added Jet winking at me.And that was when Roy burst in through a series of blue flames.
