My hands are on my face. I'm staring through my fingers. What the hell has just happened? One minute I was introducing myself to this guy called Ben, then the sky began to move. The flipping sky! Ben said something, but I couldn't wit hear him, it sounded like "wegotwurhudu" dunno what that means but nothing seems to be making any sense at the moment.
We were floating! Why the hell were we floating. I felt like there was electricity running through my veins. Comets were zooming through my brain, as fast as light. My eyes were fixed upon something else, somehow I could see everything. Why could I see everything?
Opposite me this girl was throwing up. Next to me, this guy who called himself Ben, was gawking at this cute girl in front of him. Springing into action without realising, I tapped Ben on the shoulder pointing at the girl who was vomiting. Still without controlling my body, I helped her up and put my coat around her. I wiped her vomit with the nearest piece of trash that escaped from the nearby KFC. Ben helped too by wiping her mouth with this patch of cloth.
I stood up again and looked around me. Somehow no one saw this. I was getting really freaked out. Ben asked this girl her name. Anna. I don't know why but somehow I felt like I knew her from somewhere...
I put the pieces together and discovered that she's the girl that always sits on that bench by herself while I do my runs. It's not uncommon that we are left alone in the park, especially in winter.Staring ahead of me I saw something. But only for a millisecond. It vanished as soon as it saw me glance this way. I wonder what it was.
Ben was looking at all of us. I stared back at him for a second with a quizzical expression. He didn't seem to notice. I glanced at the other girl. She was shaking even with her big jumper on. I walked over to ask what was wrong, but Ben beat me to it. Instead Anna walked over to me.
"What's your name?" She asked
"Roy" I replied "Roy chase" I began to Bob my head up and down as I slipped my hands into my pockets and pursed my lips. Something felt strange. These people felt normal. I felt like they were meant to be with me. As I felt like I could ask them anything, just to double check I said...."Hey, you guys all saw the clouds and the sky and all the messed up stuff too, right?"
