Chapter 2: If A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words, What's A Whole Show Worth?

As soon as Marinette and Adrien opened the door and took one step out, there were blinding flashes again. Microphones were shoved in both of their faces.

Adrien grabbed Marinette by the hand and started running with her. "Where are we going?" Marinette asked. Behind them the paparazzi was chasing them.

"Somewhere away from them!" Adrien was running out of ideas. He couldn't take her to any of the bathrooms without risking someone being in there seeing a boy or girl in the opposite bathroom. He couldn't take her in any of the classrooms; class might've already started. It would also ruin the whole privacy thing. He then got an idea.

He ran downstairs and went behind the staircase to give them a little cover. He flung Marinette around in front of him and had her by the shoulders. "Do you trust me?" Adrien asked Marinette out of breath.

"What?"

"Do you trust me, Marinette?"

Marinette froze. "Of course I do."

"Good. Plagg?" Plagg flew out of Adrien's jacket.

"Wait! What are you doing?"

"We're transforming. Trust me. Okay?"

Marinette looked at Adrien. It seemed obvious now that she was looking right at him. What he said was familiar too. Whenever she doubted herself he was there. When they first met and now.

Marinette opened her purse and Tikki flew out. "Okay! Tikki!" Both Adrien and Marinette smiled. They then said their two special words.

"CLAWS OUT!" "SPOTS ON!"

The next thing the paparazzi saw was Paris' two superheroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir, jumping to the roof of the school.

Once they got up there they were quickly catching their breath. "Whoo! Well! That was crazy! I swear, if I have to handle with this for the rest of my life I'll-" Ladybug stopped. Cat Noir was sitting on the edge of the roof looking down. "Hey." Ladybug say next to him. She looked at him then looked down as well.

"Who'd you think that it could be?"

Ladybug was taken aback by Cat Noir's question. She looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"Behind my mask. Who did you think it was before knowing it was me?" Cat Noir looked at Ladybug. His eyes were pleading for an answer. Ladybug had to look away. His eyes reminded her too much of Manon's baby doll ones.

"Uuuuh...I wasn't sure. I never really thought of it."

Cat Noir looked down. Ladybug looked at him. "What about you?"

Cat Noir looked at the bluebell eyes that he so hopelessly loved. "It was all I thought about." They both looked down again.

"Were you glad that I wasn't Chloe?"

"Oh definitely! Could you imagine that? I'd prefer not to." Cat Noir acted like chills went up and down his spine.

Ladybug laughed. "You know Alya said that we owe her an interview."

"Really? I should've guessed it."

They both started to laugh. They ended up looking at each other in the eyes.

"Uuuuh...well. We should probably get back to class." Ladybug stood up. "Is the paparazzi gone? I do not want to go through that again!"

She started to walk away until something stopped her. "Wait!" Cat Noir was in front of her. They were but a few inches apart. Ladybug then did something she never thought that she would do in front of Cat Noir.

"Spots off."

Cat Noir used his arm to cover his eyes from the light. When he uncovered them he looked at Marinette. "Marine-" Before Adrien could finish his sentence, Marinette grabbed Cat Noir's face and kissed him just like she did in there battle with Dark Cupid which was now an episode to them.

Cat Noir closed his eyes like he did last time. Cat Noir broke away from Marinette for a second. "Claws in." Plagg came out of Adrien's miraculous complaining.

"Kissing while we're transformed. How vial! Bleh!" Tikki giggled.

Adrien and Marinette laughed at Plagg. Adrien then moved Marinette head back towards him and they kissed again. The sounds of people cheering broke them apart.

There, outside the door of their classroom, was the whole class cheering and laughing. Apparently they had been watching the two teenagers. "How long have you been watching us?" Marinette yells at the class.

"Just long enough to see the two new lovebirds!" Alya replied.

"That's what I said! What did I tell ya?" Plagg referred back to when Adrien gave Marinette his umbrella. Everyone laughed. Adrien then looked directly at Marinette. He put his hands on her waist.

"You know that you're M'lady and my princess now right?" Adrien smiled.

Marinette giggled. "Yes." She put her hands around Adrien's neck. "And do you know that you're my kitty and my Prince Charming?"

Adrien blushed. "Yep. And I am glad to be." Marinette smiled.

"Me too, kitty. Me too."

This time they both made the effort to make lip contact. The class began to cheer again. Chloe was in the back having mixed feelings. Sabrina nudged her and Chloe ended up lightly clapping.

The two heroins broke apart and smiled at each other. Adrien then bent down and picked Marinette up bridal style. He spun her around as Marinette laughed.

Little did they know what was happening with Hawkmoth. "Isn't this convenient? Thank you, Belle. For you helped me when you didn't even know it. This will be easy now that I know who Ladybug and Cat Noir are. Just wait and see. All I need to do is wait for my next prey."

I am so sorry you guys!!! I didn't realize how long it has been since I updated this book!!! Well here you go. A sort of long chapter I guess. I will take whatever you suggest to happen next. Just leave it in the comments. I love to hear other people's ideas for inspiration.
