AFTER Watching Miraculous

Chapter 3: Clearing Everything Up

Marinette and Adrien got down off the roof and went back into the class. Once they did, the teacher, Madam Busteir, told the two to stand in the front of the room.

"Because of everything that had happened yesterday, how about we ask whatever questions we have now and not wait any longer. Raise your hand and I'll pick on you to ask your question. Only one question at a time. Be sure to address it to who your question is for. Alright. Let's start."

Almost the whole room raised their hands with questions. Marinette started to get nervous. Where was this going to lead?

"Yes. Rose. I saw your hand go up first."

Rose stood up with her signature smile on her face. "Marinette. Is it true that you were inspired to reverse Kim's arrow spell on Cat Noir by kissing him because of what I said?"

Marinette blushed. She giggled nervously. "Uh...yeah. That's what helped me figure it out."

Rose clapped lightly. "I'm glad I could help out." She then sat back down. Hands went flying up again.

"Okay. Alya."

"Marinette. Were actually planning on giving me the chance to be Ladybug because you thought you couldn't do it?"

Marinette felt nauseous. "Yes."

Alya looked at her best friend with a smile on her face. "Well I think you have done a lot better at being Ladybug than I ever could."

Marinette looked at Alya who was sitting back down. Adrien then held her hand and nodded in agreement.

"Alright. Nino."

"Adrien. Dude. Did you have to make so many puns?"

The whole class bursted out into laughter. Even Marinette.

"Well I cant seem to help it. They're fun."

Marinette looked at the blonde and said through laughs, "Are you sure it wasn't just to flirt with me?"

"Well that was just a bonus."

The whole class then awed. They were a weird couple but a cute one none the less. "Okay. Myléne."

"Am I the only one that saw how different Adrien reacted with the kiss scene when I got akumatized? I mean, he backed away from Chloe and went closer to Marinette before they were interrupted."

The whole class laughed and started talking amongst themselves. Adrien blushed. "Um...I was more comfortable with kissing Marinette I guess."

Marinette blushed but Chloe stood up in a jealous rage. "What do you mean 'more comfortable'? I'm your childhood friend!"

"Chloe. Please sit down until you are called on."

"Oh but I do have a real question. And it's for Marinette."

Marinette gulped. Adrien squeezed her hand for reassurance. Madam Busteir sighed. "Fine. Get it over with."

Chloe looked over at Marinette. "That red thing. A kwami was it? Where is it?"

Marinette opened her purse and out flew Tikki. "Everyone meet Tikki." The class awed in amazement. Adrien then told something to come out of his white shirt. A black cat looking kwami flew out.

"And this is Plagg." The class had the same reaction.

"How did I not see it before?" Nino and Alya asked at the same time. Marinette and Adrien laughed.

"Nathaniel." Nathaniel flinched. Marinette looked at him with sorry eyes. "You've been awfully quiet back there. Is there something on your mind?"

"Um...Not really."

"Are you sure?"

"Actually I do have a question."

"Please say it."

Nathaniel stood up. Marinette got nervous. Did she hurt him without knowing it?

"Marinette. Did you truly mean to hurt me like I thought when you took my pencil away while I was akumatized?"

Marinette looked desperately sorry at Nathaniel and subconsciously let go of Adrien's hand as she went to Nathaniel to give him a hug and an answer. "Of course not. I just knew what Hawkmoth was capable of and didn't want you to get hurt."

"Speaking of Hawkmoth. Are we just going to avoid the fact that he has a picture of Adrien's mom?" Marinette stopped hugging Nathaniel and looked at Nino. "Just saying."

Marinette then looked over at Adrien. He looked petrified. Marinette then went over to him and hugged him. "It'll be okay. We'll figure out why he has that picture. I promise."

Adrien tightened the hug. Alya then stood up. "What about the fact that their are more miraculous? That man has a turtle, and there's a fox and a bee one! The butterfly and peacock seem to be missing though."

Adrien let go of Marinette and looked at Alya. "Wait. Did you say peacock?"

"Yeah. There was a peacock shaped section in that box of his and there was no miraculous in it."

Adrien thought for a second. "I think I know where that is. Thing is, where is my father's book that you took?" Adrien looked at Marinette. Marinette laughed nervously.

"Uh...yeah I gave it to 'that man' that has the rest of them." Marinette smiled nervously.

"Okay. Well, I'm going to go to my house and find that peacock miraculous while you go get that book back."

"Okay. Anyone want to go with me?"

Alya, Nino, and even Chloe stood up. "I would like to see the man who thought it was a good idea to pick Marinette to be Ladybug."

Marinette rolled her eyes. "Come on."

"Hold on." Everyone in the class stopped and look at Madam Busteir. "I dismiss you. You don't." The whole class groaned. "Okay. Class is dismissed early." Everyone lit back up and ran out the door.

Once everyone was out of the school, Marinette started to look for Adrien. "Adrien? Adrien!"

"What is it Princess?" Marinette ran up to him, grabbed his collar, and kissed him. The whole class oohed.

When Marinette broke away from him, she said, "Be careful kitty." Adrien smiled and nodded. He then started running to his house. Marinette watched him run away.

She was brought back into reality when Alya cleared her throat. "Sorry. Let's go." Marinette, Alya, Nino, and Chloe started to run to meet Master Fu. Marinette just hoped that everything would be alright.
